[up]SUMO KING DOG IS FINALLY COMING OUT?!

Also, Zen Garden really isn't an issue for Mermails. Heavy Infantry, MST, and Rank 7 Xyz plays mean they really don't mind or care.

Huh, they're bringing out that Cat Girl series? I was just going to make a deck for them, since me and a friend were making silly decks, and they seemed fun.

As far as we know it'll only be playable in the new game.

The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."

That's what's apparently true, but for Sumo King Dog especially, they look rather like photographed real cards. *shrugs* Whatever.

[up][up]Well, that sucks. They're surprisingly fun to play.

Because this + that * by Cat Girl is pretty fun. Especially if it were the version just posted.

...Aw, the searching card only searches the spells/traps for some reason.

Eh, not as bad as the time I was playing against someone who apparently can't understand English who was trying to rule shark me at the same time with Necroface's (english) description who was summoning Dragon Rulers from the Deck without any form of cost while drawing extra cards using no effects whatsoever who was shouting at me for not reducing my LP from his direct attacks on the first turn after I refused to oblige to his Necroface mill effect.

And that was in Rated. (I was too stubborn to lose to something like that when I was getting close to the new DN avatar I wanted, so it turned into a battle of patience by waiting until they quit/got disconnected from not doing anything...probably should have reported the guy)

MMORPGs are serious business.

No promises, but I might have some really kick-ass news. A guy on Pojo is doing requests for custom cards on Pro, so I'm asking him for a bit of help getting some of ours done. There is one minor issue: We won't be able to play online. At least not through the Pro servers. If we were to play each other using these custom cards, it would require us playing over LAN, which can be done via Hamachi or by opening ports 7911 or 8911 in your router settings. Additionally, we'd have to reinstall the cardbase after any updates/redownloading Pro.

Just a potential heads up.

We'd really have to limit which we suggest. We've made way too many, that might overwhelm.

Doesn't sound like I'd be able to take part. Especially if it's Dev.

There's an article on the Konami site that brags about how blatantly broken Substitoad is, in their Ronintoadin article. It even has a handy diagram.

...So Konami brags about broken combos and infinite loops... only to ban them anyway?

Thank god it was BLS I drew.

At least they're playable without being ridiculous, unlike certain other TCG stuff.

Well, Phoenix Formation could see some use, even if it's only useful in specific circumstances.

Blue Flame Swordsman....well, probably will see the most use in Burning Boxers.

Indeed. I actually kind of like them, to be honest. I think I might've already mentioned several times that I would've been really annoyed if Phoenix Formation didn't get heavily nerfed and...requiring at least 3 monsters to activate it, blocking Elegant Egotist/Harpie Channeler for the turn it's activated, not wiping out everything and not dealing quite as much burn damage seems like a pretty reasonable nerf (although it's now clearly way too slow to even consider playing), considering how spammy Harpies can be and how powerful the effect is.

Blue Flame Swordsman's effect is kind of interesting since...they nerfed half of it and powered the other half up a lot. Although FIRE warrior doesn't really leave much worth reviving. Crimson Blader? Magma Neos? Phoenix Gearfried? Oh, and the Battlin' Boxers can use him, I guess...since Lead Yoke needs more attack power, right?

Also, I only just noticed that there's only 1 FIRE warrior normal monster.

Without Ultimate Offering, Harpie Lady Phoenix Formation is beyond difficult to use. I mean, it's very fair, but still.

Could've used two minimum Harpie Lady's. Or the activation requirement could just require Harpie monsters, but could destroy up to the number of Harpie Lady and Sisters on the field. That'd make it versatile, while fair.

No, it's a spell. That said, they have Rekindling in trap form, so there's that. Having actually played Harpies, it's really not that hard to get a bunch of them on the field.

And I think the restrictions on it are plenty fair as they are.

Read the edit.

And nah, the restrictions make it too difficult to play. The way I have it set up makes it playable more often, but it still is restricted harder to what it can kill. I don't have an issue with the battle phase and special summon clause. But keeping 3 Harpies on the field without special summoning is too hard these formats.

That restriction really doesn't make it as difficult to play as you seem to think it does. Again, speaking from personal experience playing the deck, it's not that hard to get 3 harpies on the field, especially when you're still able to special summon from the graveyard and activate that on the same turn.

WHY WERE ALL 3 OF MY GHOSTRICK HOUSES IN THE LAST 12 CARDS OF MY DECK?! Also, Mary's effect is amazing.
