Huh. I guess she did love Atlas in some way after all.

Is it just me, or has Mitzi's design changed slightly these past few strips?

I recently archive binged this comic in a whole day and now I can't get enough.

Can't wait for the next update.

Well, you're going to have to wait. The comic updates very slowly, but 2-4 comics at a time. Monthly is the artist's target.

Ok, so can I nominate that shot of Ivy in Victor's coat the cutest thing ever?

@Latia: I second that.

Also, you kind of have to squint to see it but...Is Viktor...Smiling? Just a little in the Viktor and Ivy thing?

I like to think Viktor's smiling on the inside, at any rate. While I don't ship Ivy and him, it's clear even from the in-continuity strips that he tolerates contact from her in a way he likely wouldn't do with others. Also yes, Ivy inside his coat = adorable. <3

Even more do I love the accompanying one with Viktor uncharacteristically laughing uproariously at the mere idea of being shipped with Mordecai. Especially after his "Vhat are you saying?" look at the reader, followed by his "Hmm..." look at his colleague. Hysterical. As for Mordecai, I get the sense he doesn't even understand the question. (Leaving aside that you would have to translate 'shipper' into 20s-speak delicately enough so that neither gent would instantly snap your neck. evil grin )

Victor wins all of the money. All of it.

I read a lot of webcomics, including many that are regularly funny. But today's Viktor update left me wheezing and gasping, and I don't have asthma. evil grin

I love the relationship between Ivy and Viktor. Not as a ship but more as a big brother or surrogate father type. Kinda makes you wonder what it is about Ivy that makes him so protective of her. Does he have a soft spot for girls on their own? Does she remind him of someone? What did he leave behind to fight in WWI? He's kinda my favorite character.

Also I've never been so torn on ships. I like most of Mitzi's ships. I can't choose! Especially between Mitzi/Wick and Mitzi/Zib. Then of course I like the thought of her not ending up with anybody because of Atlas.

[up] Seriously.

Also I like the Real Name reveal. And Zib has quickly won a whole lot of liking from me. Fascinating.

What I also like about this page is Mitzi's curls losing their strength. It gives her, dare I say, more of a Velma Kelly-look.

... Great, now I'm imagining Mitzi performing The Cell Block Tango.

Add me in to the Viktor and Ivy friendship love! I love how they're from different worlds but still care about each other so much.

I think that if it weren't for that hobo, Mitzi just might've taken Zib up on his offer.

I guess that wouldn't have made for a good story, though, huh?

[up] I was wondering about that. Did the hobo's interruption actually ruin any chance of Mitzi and Zib abandoning the bootlegging biz and going on the road like old times? Or did it just hasten Mitzi's decision to stay after all?

I thought that Zib and Mitio were both caught up in the nostalgia of the old days, and would have actually tried to catch that train, but then the hobo showed up and reality came back.

Aw, poor Rocky. sad But good on Freckle there for being a friend. (Especially since knowing what to do, when he doesn't have an automatic in his hand, doesn't come naturally to him. evil grin )
