I'm probably overthinking something that's obviously meant to be a joke, but in Desperate Struggle's anime girl shoot-em-up mini-game, why is "Blueberry" the name of the green girl and not the blue one?

Because the blue one's...y'know...blue? Like blueberries? And a nutberry (which is the blue one's name) isn't even slightly blue?

Wait, what are you talking about? Blueberry is definitely blue. If anyone was questionable, it'd be why Cranberry is black and yellow, or "what even is a nutberry?

Not in Bizarre Jelly 5, the aforementioned shoot-em-up mini-game in Desperate Struggle, she's not. For some reason, Blueberry's ensemble in BJ5 is based around green.

What was the joke anyway? That a lot of Japanese games have a habit of misspellings and other inconsistencies that'd make international countries go "huh?"

Her BJ5 ensemble does have some blue left in it, but yeah, it's primarily green now. In any case, it might be in reference to the same word in Japanese occasionally being used for both blue and green. Alternatively, I dunno.

Huh. I never knew that.

Though for the sake of our sanity, maybe we should split the difference and just say Travis has the weirdest taste in anime. (Unless NMH 3 reveals he's grown out of it.)

That said, while the in-universe anime is questionable AF, Glastonbury looks so kickass. I really hope it comes back in NMH 3.

I didn't know there was supposed to be info on either coming. Gaming news I'm waiting on: NMH 3 and Tekken 7 DLC. I've got a passing curiosity for Smash Bros DLC, but I also pretty much lost any hype as soon as Travis was only a Mii costume.

Wow, so much seeing which info we'll get 1st between this & Bayo 3. And it's going to be released this year no less.

We've had a much more consistent string of info for NMH 3 for some time, compared to the titles in the cursed number sequence (Breath of the Wild 2, Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, Shin Megami Tensei 5), who were all just announced way too early.

Eh, feels premature to say that about Breath of the Wild 2, since we know that we'll be getting new information about it later this year. I'd wait until that information release is delayed or canceled before I group it with Metroid Prime 4 and the others.

I suppose that's fair, though they did still put a segment in a Direct just to say "No, we're not showing anything yet." It and SMTV have at least shown a bit more compared to the other two, but I'd cross them off once they show some gameplay.

...What allegations? (Because it puts Silver's recasting in Team Sonic Racing in a whole new light. I was under the impression that Bryce Papenbrook had to sub in as Silver in TSR because Flynn had to do Kingdom Hearts III.)

I just did a search. Nothing has been confirmed in a court of law, but yikes yikes yikes.

At the very least, even if none of this was true, now might not be a good time to publicize his casting.

...soooooooo anyone got any suggestions for what form Destroyman will return as, since IIRC Suda suggested he might come back? When Travis vertically bisected him, he returned as two vertically split cyborgs. But Shinobu decapitated one and then sliced the head multiple times horizontally, then impaled her sword into and scrambled the brains of the other, and then they both exploded.

...Having rewatched the post-fight cutscenes, that might not have been the most ideal change of topic.
