Fire Emblem having six reps and possibly getting more through Echoes and DLC seems like an okay complaint.
Japan wants Bandana Dee.
Get your facts straight fool! /s
Uni catEspecially when 3 of those are variations on Marth, all of them use swords, and 4 of them focus entirely on swordplay.
They want K. Rool, ya dongus!

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."You won't hear any complaints from me about the Fire Emblem characters, since I find them all fun to play as.
I won't be satisfied until Fire Emblem outnumbers the Mario Extended Universe.
Fire Emblem Cinematic Universe.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Unless that complaint is about how being an Echo doesn't do the character justice I hardly see how getting more rep more through Echo is a bad thing. Especially when everyone & their mothers know how much time is spent on an Echo character
According to this poll I found on 4chan, Japan's most wanted characters were Rex, Bandanna Waddle Dee, Spring Man, K.Rool, and Sora.
Because all but one are pretty anime swordsmen with Down B counters. Four of them are roughly the same character with only Robin and Corrin having real differences.

No, Ike and Marth play very differently.
As a Fire Emblem fan, I am also upset that three of them are Marth variations because it doesn't have to be that way.
Also I looked into it a bit more and, while I can't verify this in any way, there are claims that Ridley is unpopular with some of the Japanese audience because of his limited facial expressions.
This song needs more love.Damn, those fellas must despise Mr. Game & Watch.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."I thought he was unpopular in Japan because Metroid is dead there.
Zelda has three Links, but no one complains about those.
I mean, i'm only expecting Edelgard/Edgelord/Whatever for DLC and that's about if for FE. The franchise has grown a lot and i think it's not that bad to have that many fighters
Uni catI think you mean Mega Man.

Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru! As a former Fire Emblem fan I'm still amazed how inaccurate half of the Fire Emblem reps are. I'm even more amaze on faithful Corrin's moveset to Fate.
Actually as somewhat a Zelda fan I would've complain about it if wasn't how small the cast for Zelda was. I would've picked Impa & Midna over Toon & Young Link if I actually had say in the matter.

Yeah, Sora ain't gonna happen. Not unless they want to deal with The Mouse.
I find fixation and complete focus on a character having sword to be silly. That doesn't truly tell how that characters plays considering how many total characters in Smash use a sword.
There are also still popular requests for certain characters that wield swords like Isaac and Rex.

People complain about the lack of Zelda representation beyond the main trio all the time, especially in conjuction with Fire Emblem's six reps.
The issue is that Smash doesn't really do one-off characters except for Fire Emblem, because the series is built on them so you can always get a new Lord in. Otherwise Nintendo's most iconic characters are the ones who keep showing up in games.
Sheik being the sole exception, but then again she was lucky she was part of Zelda's moveset
Uni catYou could add Xenoblade to that.
Pretty confident somebody from either X or 2 is showing up in Ultimate.
That's hardly a problem, especially since Sheik is a ninja & ninja tend to be a must have in any fighting games.
Anyway, Nintendo is bringing the E3 demo to San Diego Comic Con.
I generally don't see much point in having both Toon Link and Young Link in Smash, since they're both smaller but speedier links. But considering "everyone is back!" is the theme of Ultimate, I don't see any reason to complain about it either.
Young Link is now Link but Melee.
Not even remotely surprise about Ridley's reception, but christ that 1st comment piss me off. Getting really tired seeing how much of a hate boner people for Fire Emblem just because they have 6 reps. So sick of hearing who deserve to be in the game & who doesn't
