• Awesome Music: The end credits song "Dreaming Place" is quite brilliant to listen to.
• Nightmare Fuel:
  • The hunter is nightmare fuel personified, what with his Psycho for Hire tendencies. In every scene he's in, he's bound to scare the pants off the viewers.
  • The puppy mill. Just imagine being one of the dogs there, cooped up in a cage, your living conditions worse than the worst, and being forced to churn out babies endlessly until you die...
• Tear Jerker:
  • The very opening scene. Moongchi's owners abandon him, and he's left on his own in a cruel world.
  • Bongji, one of Jjangah's gang members, is caught by the hunter and whisked off to his doom. The gang's distraught reaction just says it all.
  • Bangul, a sick dog, is taken in by Jjangah's gang and finds a new home there only to die shortly after. The gang shows genuine grief when she dies, even taking the time to bury her.
  • Tori's parents are hit by cars while crossing a man-made road on the way to paradise, and lose their lives.
  • Bami's entire backstory. She was born in a puppy mill run by the hunter, and her mother was impregnated over and over, giving birth to Bami (called Blackie back then) and her numerous younger siblings, only escaping after death. When Bami got old enough, she was to be subjected to the same fate as her mother but she got out and ran aimlessly until collapsing, before being found and taken in by Tori's father.
• The Woobie: All the main gang qualifies in one way or another, but Bami probably has the worst out of it all.
