- Alternative Character Interpretation:
- "I Can't Do This". Outside of the bridge, it's left a big ambiguous as to whether she's singing for God's help in particular or just help in general. Also, is the subject matter about someone who physically cannot do a thing or a depressed person who just does not want to do it?
- "In My Arms" can either be about a mother talking about her young child or God talking about a child.
- Depending on who you ask, "I want you here" refers to either the grief of a mother, a lost love, or, as the lyrics suggest, both.
- Signature Song: "Cut", "In My Arms", and "Damaged".
- Stoic Woobie: The subject of "Nice Naïve and Beautiful".
- Tearjerker: Many of their songs but more specifically I want you here seems to really hit home
