  • Arc Fatigue:
    • It took 60 episodes for the mystery of who ordered the attack on Luca to finally be revealed, and the fact that the answer was considered anticlimactic (those responsible were precisely the two main villains of the telenovela) didn't help.
    • At the moment, 60 episodes have passed and none of the plot's big mysteries (Who killed Pedro? What happened to Frida?) have been resolved so far.
    • The storyline of the protagonists' mission to obtain their grandmother Frida's inheritance is also widely criticized. The most common criticism is that the few advances in this storyline occur off-screen, with the characters involved apparently little concerned or even interested in the consequences.
    • Many fans are also bored with the fact that 60 chapters have already passed and Guto doesn't have the courage to declare his feelings to Lupita. Some fans even joke that Guto will only gain courage in the final episode, when Lupita will be already married to his rival, Jupiter.
  • Designated Monkey: Many fans are losing patience (or have already lost patience) with the arc of Guto, a character whose narrative function seems to be just to suffer and be the butt of jokes in every episode. The reason for this is that Guto is considered one of the most likable characters in the soap opera, and the series of unfortunate and unlucky events that occur to him end up being more depressing than funny.
  • Hollywood Homely:
    • With the notable exception of Guto, all the characters think Lupita is an ugly woman. Lupita wears heavy, unglamorous clothes, huge glasses and a bad hairstyle, but even so, none of this erases the fact that actress Daphne Bozaski is a beautiful woman. The aforementioned Guto thinks she's beautiful since they met, so this ends up making this trope even more evident.
    • Even more ridiculous in the case of Guto, who is supposed to be the stereotypical dull and unattractive nerd who is still a virgin and who has never been flirted with by any woman (at least, before this story starts). Actor Daniel Rangel is a handsome man and the only thing the production team did to try to make him look less attractive is to give him glasses and a dull hairstyle.
  • Romantic Plot Tumor: The focus on romance over anything else is a strong criticism of the telenovela. In particular, many fans feel that the focus on the romance could be much better spent on the plot involving the protagonists carrying out the mission to obtain their grandmother Frida's inheritance.
  • Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Lupita. Guto has been her best friend since they met on her first day of work at the record label, helping her whenever possible (he's in love with her, it's worth mentioning). When Lupita was arrested for helping Jupiter in his scheme, Guto did everything he could to try to help her. However, after Guto was unfairly accused of being a pervert who sexually harasses women at work, Lupita not only believes the accusations but refuses to give Guto the chance to explain. It becomes laughable when even the telenovela's main villain, Hans, believes in Guto's innocence but Lupita doesn't. Many fans also point out that this makes Lupita quite hypocritical, as she constantly defends and protects Jupiter, with whom she is in love, despite him having done much worse things, including cheating on his girlfriend with several lovers. The last straw is when Lupita willingly gives Guto's location to Jupiter on one occasion, even though she knows he plans to attack him. For many fans, Lupita is a poor friend at best, and at worst, unworthy of Guto's friendship and love, with many rooting for him to fall in love with Mila, who despite being rude to him, cares much more with his well-being and constantly tries to protect him.
