- Epileptic Trees: Due to Cell possessing the Saiyan ability to grow stronger everytime he recovers from a near-death experience, it's speculated that if these shorts are Canon, this one is why Cell is able to give the Saiyans such a challenge.
- Although it does raise the question about whether Cell being blown up by Kenshiro, which ultimately isn't that much of a threat to him and doesn't do lasting harm, counts as having "almost died".
