• Angst? What Angst?: Ashido, despite being at ground zero of one of the bloodiest fights in the story and using her own power to melt Kizutatchi's face off, is her old bubbly self just a few chapters later. When asked how she can stay so upbeat, her reply basically amounts to "he had it coming."
• Anti-Climax Boss: Mirai is restrained and imprisoned at the beginning of the assault at UA, and stays there for most of the operation; then Kizutatchi frees her and gives her a shot of Trigger but when she seems about to level UA, her quirk misfires and her body breaks, leaving her comatose. It's later explained she suffered an overdose of the drug.
