• Development Gag: One scene in "Walking Small" has Plankton jump into SpongeBob's mouth to speak through him. Plankton's voice actor, Mr. Lawrence, originally auditioned for the role of SpongeBob (using the same voice he would use for Plankton, no less) before he was given the role of Plankton instead.
• Working Title: "Walking Small" was originally titled "Walking Tall".
