• What Could Have Been: The title track "Christmas in Our Hearts" started off as Ang Tubig Ay Buhay ("Water Is Life"), initially intending it to be a silver jubilee song for the Assumption High School Class of 1963. Feeling that the melody would be put to waste for a one-off song about a school reunion, he decided to retool it as a Christmas song—songwriter Rina Cañiza later penned the now-famous song using the melody for Ang Tubig Ay Buhay.
