Trivia / Druid (1995)

• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Druid was only reprinted in 2018, over 20 years after its original publication, as part of the Hellstorm omnibus. As of March 2023, the series still isn't available in any other format and hasn't been republished as a digital comic.
• Torch the Franchise and Run: Ellis and Manco were invited to launch Druid after their previous series, Hellstorm was cancelled. Druid was initially supposed to be an ongoing series, but was cut down to a four-issue limited series as soon as the first issue was published. At the end of the fourth issue Ellis abruptly kills Druid and his entire supporting cast. Only antagonists Nekra and Hellstrom remain - and Nekra is actually dead anyway. This even including in-universe torching as Hellstrom and Nekra burned Druid's corpse before tossing it in a dumpster.
