• What Could Have Been: The whole script was written with Tatyana Protsenko, who rose to stardom two years earlier as Malvina in The Adventures of Buratino, intended for the title role. However, she got a concussion shortly before the shooting was scheduled to begin, and Little Red Riding Hood's part was eventually given to Yana Poplavskaya.
