- Phantom Wheatley's entire character. He was created as a copy of the real Wheatley in order to distract Grady from the cold, hard truth about what happened, leading to identity crisis and an inferiority complex over the real Wheatley. Then, he fell deeply in love with Grady - only for Grady to confess his undying love to the real Wheatley, reinforcing that Phantom Wheatley will never be as good as the real thing. Yet, he still loves Grady with a passion and wants to see him happy. Ouch.
- Melty's attempts to get ahold of Grady without him ignoring her are absolutely heartbreaking to read. They devolve from worried, all-caps messages, to desperate, nearly nonsensical slews without spaces begging Grady not to ghost her. This doesn't work once, by the way.
