Synopsis:
Charlotte Brabant, a feisty and good-looking door-to-door pollster, meets Jan Ducart through a matchmaking service. The two of them date for a while, until Charlotte dumps Jan for someone else. Jan won't stand for this and starts to stalk Charlotte in his spare time. When he follows her home one night, Charlotte tells him, in no uncertain terms, that they're through. The following morning, Charlotte's corpse is found on the parking of a local tavern. Jan quickly becomes Witse's prime suspect, especially after Witse discovers that he once dated Witse's latest love interest, Kathleen. Dimi, however, wants to investigate Charlotte's new flame, Jacky Leonard, a rich playboy who, until recently, seemed to be more interested in partying than in the family business. As it turns out, Charlotte's good influence caused Jacky to gain a renewed interest in the family business, much to the annoyance of his brother, Freddy, who'd rather run the business without his brother's blundering. Yet, both Jacky and Freddy seem to have an alibi for the night of the murder. In the end, a call made to a cell tower next to the tavern leads Witse to the identity of the true culprit.
