- Eat the Evidence: Dave panics and swallows the explosive nectar when the guards show up. They fail to notice him, but then he has to deal with a bomb in his stomach. Thankfully, he molts and the canister pops out of him.
- Internal Reveal: Scarlemagne learns that the Mega-Monkey is Song Oak, having long believed her dead too.
- Origins Episode: We learn about how Scarlemagne knows about Lio, how he became leaders of the apes.
- Parental Abandonment: This is how Scarlemagne/Hugo perceives Lio's actions.
