Rosa and Pandy are preparing snowflakes for the Christmas tree decorations, when they are encountered by Winnie, a young horse who tries to do a broadcast about the village's New Year traditions. Pandy asks her to visit Krash and Chiko, who tell her about throwing snowballs, with Winnie throwing one at Rosa.
Later, they visit Dokko, with Winnie looking through his telescope, Carlin, who tells them about tribal traditions, and Olga, who sings with them. Rosa gets jealous of Winnie and doubts her professionalism, even trying to drown her camera. When Winnie and Pandy discover her, she pretends to swim in the icehole, getting sick in the process.
Later, she sees Winnie leaving the village, and asks her about the interview, with her telling there isn't any as she forgot to press the record button, and which is the reason she was sent here, to do the easiest interview possible, which she isn't able to do as well. Rosa comforts her, saying that she was perfect at it, and decides to help her reshoot it. They do perfectly, with their story ending up on the news.
