John and Crystal are forced to restore power to Skyvault to save themselves from falling to Earth and from the Strafers launched by Terror. Skyvault returns to its orbit, and its automatic defenses take care of the Strafers, but with the power restored, all the systems and robots aboard the space station are again under Terror's control. However, in the Centurion Academy, Dr. Wu has devised a portable weapon that neutralizes the effect of Doc Terror's robot-controlling beam. Ace is sent into space with his Orbital Interceptor and Wu's weapon in his hands, and with Crystal's help he is teleported into the station, where he uses the weapon restoring every system and robot aboard Skyvault to normal. After Skyvault is thus brought back under the Centurions' control, John is then sent to Sealab and with Max's cover, he frees the facility from Terror's grasp as well. Gog grows tired of humans interfering with its schemes, and plots to eradicate all humans by destroying a giant asteroid in space using Super Strafers launched from Dominion, with the destruction of said asteroid raining several fragments down on Earth and thus causing the extinction of all lifeforms on the planet. Upon learning this, Terror and Hacker rebel against the alien computer, but their efforts are futile against Magog as the robot is just too strong for both of them; however, Hacker disables the energy barrier that surrounded Gog's fortress hideout, prompting the Centurions to deploy on the island and attack the fortress. As the heroes cut through the waves of Mecha-Mooks sent from the fortress, Gog launches the Super Strafers from Dominion towards the asteroid. Ace is sent into space to try and stop the Super Strafers, but he doesn't make it in time, and is seemingly lost in the huge explosion.

- And Knowing Is Half the Battle: Notoriously, the "moral lesson" at the end of this particular episode is delivered by none other than... the Big Bad of the series, Doctor Terror himself.
- Cliffhanger: This time, the episode ends with Ace failing to prevent the Super Strafers from colliding with the huge asteroid, and as he is blasted away by the resulting explosion uttering a Big "NO!", Crystal desperately calls him getting no answer just as the asteroid fragments are hurled towards Earth.
