Jon Taffer heads to a bar in West Palm Beach, Florida, where a murder occurred, and has to break the old image of the bar while dealing with some difficult staff members.

- History Repeats: Subverted, John doesn't have much luck bringing in savory characters to the stress test, so out of desperation, he brings back the old clientele. A fight breaks out, and someone claims one of the guys has a gun, leading us to believe another murder will occur. Thankfully, it was a false alarm, and the guy didn't have a gun. Naturally, John, the promoter, is fired for the events that unfolded.
- Jerkass: The promoter, John, who is clearly taking advantage of two desperate owners and brings in shady characters to increase his profits
- Lazy Bum: Brittany sat around drinking during the soft opening, claiming she couldn't find any work to do as opposed to lightening the other bartenders' loads by taking care of waiting customers.
- Nice Guy: Both owners are tolerant of criticism and genuinely hard workers who embrace Jon Taffer's changes.
