Despite being darker than the canon it stems from, They Shook Hands has its own supply of funny moments. The best will be noted below.
- In second year, Harry finally has enough of Lockhart's 'teaching', and storms out, followed summarily by his year-mates. They promptly burst out laughing once they're far enough away.
- In Harry's fifth year, he once again makes use of the Room of Requirement. Since Umbridge has fully embraced the need for students to be prepared to resist the Death Eaters, it's used not as a training center, but as a place where Harry and his girlfriend can make out in peace.
