Fridge Brilliance

  • In The Secret of Watch Hill, an image suggests that the Mystery Trackers sent a helicopter to bring Amber to join their ranks pretty much as soon as the funeral for her little brother was over. But why are they keeping such close tabs on her that they could find her so quickly? The answer was already given back during the events of Silent Hollow - Amber, Will, and one of their parents are descended from Morpheus, the founding member who turned to evil. It makes perfect sense that the Mystery Trackers would have kept tabs on his family tree and watched for likely candidates for recruitment (and/or the possibility of someone else in the lineage turning to evil).
  • Similarly, throughout the series we see Amber perform various scientific actions, such as using everyday components to craft explosives. The Secret of Watch Hill shows us that at the time of her recruitment, she was a teenage science whiz who had received awards for her talents in chemistry and biology, which gives some of her previous actions something of a Rewatch Bonus.

Fridge Horror

  • The three missing students in Forgotten Voices haven't just disappeared from their own plane of reality - they've disappeared from the memories of everyone who ever knew them. When they return at the end of the game, it's clear that their friends now remember them again. But imagine being, for example, the parent of one of those children; for a full year, you had a child whose existence you forgot, and then suddenly the memories cram themselves back into your head. There must have been quite a number of people who wondered if they were losing their minds.

Fridge Logic

  • In The Fall of Iron Rock, we learn that the titular community is a Closed Circle. No one can enter; no one can leave. And most of the residents either died in the Downfall or have died in the intervening five years from various causes (or disappeared to be used in the nefarious experiments Agent Redford discovered). So... where are they getting food? How are they receiving basic services like electricity and sewage? Depending on the answers, this may also overlap with Fridge Horror.
