So, last time we went through the first floor of Tartarus with little difficulty and picked up our first Persona post-awakening, Pixie! Let's head right back into the action!

As our party is too tired to do much else today, we're told that we should head on back home, since there isn't much else to do in the lobby at present. As we exit, we're told that exiting the lobby will mean that the Dark Hour is over, and so the day will automatically be over. However, I'm not quite done with the lobby yet, since there's one thing I'm yet to do: fuse Personas. So, with a heavy heart and a deep sensation of fear inside me, I head back into the Velvet Room.

Fusing Personas, as Igor the horrifying explains, is a way of combining two or more Personas together in order to make stronger ones, which will have some of the skills of the Personas it was used from. Apparently there are around 170 Personas that we can make, so it'll take some time to fill it all up. Another thing to note is that the two Personas used to make the new one will be consumed, so be careful in your fusing. However, since we don't have a whole lot in way of Personas right now, I'll hold off on that until I have some more at my command. Still, it is a very useful thing to have on hand, and well worth the horror of visiting the Velvet Room and enduring Igor's come-hither gaze.

Stepping out again, it's time to head on back to the dorm and finally get to the end of this tutorial. Phew, 9 updates and only now we're truly knowing what we're doing! The next day, however, we're greeted by a friendly student who appears to have a cutout and... oh come on, again with the Yukari stuff? Jeez, we're just friends! The commenters haven't even voted on who they want me to romance yet! Anyway, the guy introduces himself as Kenji Tomochika before letting us know that we'd better hurry off to the assembly. Joy. Still, we do learn something interesting in it. Seems Mitsuru's been elected as president of the Student Council. Yukari's barely restraining her bitterness towards Mitsuru as well. I swear, we're going to get a cat-persona fight one of these days. Junpei also pipes up with the information that the school is owned by the Kirijo Group. Curious, that's the second time that name has been mentioned (the other time being mentioned in the explosion that killed Yukari's dad).

Anyway, Mitsuru goes on about bettering school and restructuring lives for a while before walking off stage. Junpei, while amazed, is completely clueless as to the message behind her words. Seems Mitsuru just has a commanding enough presence to get people to listen, although not to comprehend, in this case. Still, with that assembly is done and it's back to class with Ms Toriumi. However, she once again goes off the rails and starts reciting haiku. We get the option to doze off, but sleep is for the weak, and I smell an Academics increase. Sure enough, Kenji was yelled at for sleeping and we get another tasty bite of knowledge boost. With that, class draws to a close and we're allowed to do what we want after class. Huzzah! I spend a bit of time wandering around and getting a feel for the place before heading on home.

Upon leaving school we find a bunch of schoolgirls fangirling over poor Akihiko. He doesn't seem to pleased with all the attention, even as Junpei comments on how many admirers he has. Junpei also reveals that Akihiko is the captain of the boxing team. I guess he's the boxing glove party member, huh? However, this chit-chat is interrupted as Akihiko tells us that he wants to meet us at the local mall. Junpei seems a little bummed out that Akihiko's fangirls won't be joining him, much to their depression, but that doesn't keep their fangirling ways down forever. Sadly.

We regain control of Minato to head to the town map. This is the first time we've actually seen it, and as I suspected, it has locations that we've walked through during the tutorial. Truly, I am the font of all knowledge. We head on over to the mall for the time being so we can meet Akihiko at the police station, as per his instruction. Why a mall has a police station I do not know... We find Akihiko chatting with a police officer who seems to have a cutout, though he isn't the talkative type. Akihiko introduces him as Officer Kurosawa, and explains that he's the guy SEES comes to when they need better equipment. We also receive 5,000 yen, courtesy of Ikutsuki. Sweet! Let's go buy all sorts of illegal things from this crooked cop! Well, not quite crooked, but more open to otherworldy things. Seems like a nice guy. I decide to go upgrading Minato's kit with the stuff I have, making short work of the yen I had.

With that, I decide to head on home, drawing this update to a close. See you next time!

Hmm...I usually buy a weapon for the Protagonist with the windfall of cash. The best way to gain money is obviously through your dungeon crawling. So I'd recomend a return as soon as you can get yourself to a "Great" status. Take the restroom but if all else fails, sleep.
