Chapter 31x: Let's go Shoppin! (Battle Preperations)

Chapter 31x:

We finally got word from Captain Fargus, the captain who took us to the island last time. He agreed to take us to the island again. First however we decided to take advantage of Ostia's huge castle town as a last chance to buy some supplies before we set out. Once again, I couldn't help but be nosey and listen in on Hector and Oswin's talks. It seems that Hector's brother is indeed dead. The reason he had for keeping the death a secret was because if Hector knew just how bad things were for Lord Uther, he would rush to his side. But doing this would mean abandoning Eliwood, and the entire time he would be hating himself for leaving his friend behind. Keeping the sickness a secret was the only way to keep Hector from having to make such a tough choice.

Before our shopping spree began, I had Lucius use the Dragonshield that we found in the Castle, while Fiora put on another Body Ring. I wish for her to be a tough as possible for the heavy lances that she must weild.

Laundry List:

Swords: Iron, Steel, Killer, MAYBE silver

Lances: All lance users are at A or S, so no Steel. Silver and Killer, maybe some throwables.

Axes: Iron, Steel, Hand, Killer, A couple silver?

Light Magic: C and higher, maybe a lightning tome.

Staves: NO Heal staves, Mend should be the minimum. Psychic staves if possible.

other: perhaps some elixer.

For the most part I was able to follow my shopping list, although the shops didn't sell Psychic staves, so I had to settle for Recover staves. Hector and Serra went the arena to do a bit of last minute training, and while they were gone, they had a little chat. Serra was shocked that Hector was being NICE to her for once. Apperently she was also not in the know about Uther's passing.

Anywho, we had our shopping finished, and were ready to set off for Badon.

Turns: 6/225 (excluding Chapters 11 and 30)
