Lumina: What exactly does he mean? ...It doesn't matter.
Yellow: There has to be a teleporter here somewhere that leads to Giovanni...
{As it happens, there is. One on the third floor he'd skipped over. It leads to the path to the Boardroom. But its ot direct, and some familiar faces are waiting for him...}
Purple: What kept you Yellow?
Yellow: Purple? You're here?

Purple: Wahaha! I thought you'd turn up if I waited here! You always did want to be the hero. I expected you to get here sooner, but I guess Team Rocket slowed you down! Not that I care!

Purple: I saw you in Saffron, so I decided to see if you got better!
Yellow: Then why didn't you challenge me then? Why come all the way in here to set up an ambush?
Purple: ... (Fact is, I was ordered to come in here with every other High-tier Rocker fighter. But I don't intend to keep taking orders for much longer...)

Sandslash: ...He's lying. We are involved with this.
Lumina: I see... but we are opponents, not enemies.

Purple: (Darn it, I thought a poison move would be good against his Grass Pokemon.)

Yellow: How'd you get in here without a card key?
Purple: Obviously I found one. I was just polite enough to close the doors behind me. Go Ninetails! (Lv 35)
Yellow: Switch in, Leviat! (Lv 32)
Ninetails: I hear you made quite a stir at the rocket headquarters, Gyarados. Defeating Giovanni's team without taking a scratch in return...
Leviat: So you know who you face! Excellent! But it will not save you!
Ninetails: No, I didn't think it would.
{Round 2: Ninetais strikes quickly, but is blasted back by Water gun. Hp 98/109 vs 65%}
Lumina: Ninetails, I think we fulfilled your wishes... by luck of the draw.
Ninetails: Hmm, pity Yellow is too good a tactician to pit us against each other. I'd wanted to see her again to be sure...
{Round 3: The combatants use the same tactics against each other. But this time, Gyarados has better aim and ets a critical hit. Ninetails barely clings to consciousness... Hp 87/109 vs 1%}
Ninetails: hah... Before I... fall again... let me say this... this is a better resolution... than I could have hoped for-
{Round 4: Ninetails lets out a final Roar, but it does nothing. Gyarados drenches him a final time, forcing a recall.}
Gyarados: (Darn it, I'm stronger than him again now, but I'm still losing!) Cloyster! (Lv 37)
Yellow: Step in, Lumina! (Lv 32)
Purple: So you've given them nicknames now? You could have at least picked ones that are easier to understand.
{Round 5: Lumina strikes with a Thunderbolt, Paralyzing Cloyster. Cloyster returns fire with an Aurora Beam! Hp 22/72 vs 48%}
Purple: Pikachu doesn't have the vitality it needs to win at this point. You know, there's this gift shop in Celadon you might want to look at...
Yellow: I've been there. Lumina just wasn't interested in evolving.
Lumina: Right... hm? I never tried telling him that...
Purple: What, like it could just slap it away or something?
{Round 6: Lumina manages a finishing blow.}
Purple: Rrgh... time for something you can't match with a weakness! Kadabra! (Lv 35)
Yellow: (He's right. If I want to win, I need to rely on raw power.) Leviat, you're up again! Bite attack!
{Round 7: Kadabra tries a preemptive Recover, which is useless, because it's still at full strength. Bite goes through perfectly. Hp 87/109 vs 25%}
Purple: (Darn it, I mistimed that one!)
Kadabra: You act like you are invincible, but are you really unaware of your own weaknesses?
Leviat: Of course I fear the lightning! But I know I shall never need to endure it!
Kadabra: We shall see. (I was hoping to face "Charles", to see how our relative powers have changed... But if this is the way of things, then I have no choice but to endure them.)
{Round 8: Kadabra tries to Disable Gyarados, but the move fails completely, leaving him vulnerable to another Biting attack.}
Purple: Well, you now how I save my best for last. Go, Jolteon! (Lv 40)
Yellow: Switch in, Saurio! Razor leaf!
{Round 9: Jolteon quickly fires off his spines as Pin Missiles! Saurio manages to avoid most of the attack, but it's very effective against him for some reason. Saurio's counterattack misses. Hp 18/89 vs 100%}
Jolteon: Surprised? We expected Ivysaur to be there to block my new Electrical powers, but... I learned a counterstrategy.
Yellow: This isn't good... Lumina, drink this. Saurio, try to hang in there!
Saurio: I understand.
{Round 10: Yellow heals Lumina. Jolteon finishes off Saurio with another wave of needles.}
Yellow: No good... Go for it, Bruce! Double Kick! (Lv 31)
Bruce: Of course!
{Round 11: Jolteon uses Sand Attack, causing Double Kick to miss.}
Jolteon: I haven't given up all my old tricks.
{Round 12: Jolteon strikes with Thundershock. Bruce strikes back with Double Kick. Hp 23/80 vs 53%}
Yellow: Not good... Keep attacking, try for one more hit!
{Round 13: Jolteon uses his own Double Kick attack to finish off Bruce.}
Jolteon: Ah, There's nothing like a taste of their own medicine.
Yellow: Urbeth, I have an idea! confuse ray! (Lv 32)
{Round 14: Jolteon strikes with Double Kick before falling victim to Confuse Ray. Hp 51/79 vs 53%}
Yellow: This should give us some time...
{Round 15: Yellow uses a Revive on Bruce. Jolteon strikes with a critical Thundershock.}
Yellow: Now, Lumina, Thunder Wave!
{Round 16: Jolteon attacks itself, and is paralyzed by Thunder Wave. Hp 72/72 vs 45%}
Yellow: And with a little luck... Slam!
{Round 17: Lumina misses. Jolteon is gripped by paralysis.}
Jolteon: Pikachu, I respect your power, especially now that I share it. But... defeating Yellow here might just be the boost Purple needs to take revenge on the Boss Rocket.
{Round 18: Lumina misses again. So does Jolteon's sand attack}
{Round 19: Pikachu and Jolteon hit each other with their physical attacks. Hp 36/72 vs 25%}
Yellow: No more need to take risks. Switch in, Bruce!
{Round 20: Jolteon hits the entering fighter with Double Kick. Hp 12/80 vs 25%}
Yellow: Now, Double Kick.
{Round 21: Bruce's Double Kick brings Jolteon down.}
{Bruce grows to level 32}
Purple: Oh-oh! So, you are ready for Boss Rocket!
Yellow: Well, yeah. I beat him before, I can beat him again.
{Suddenly, Saurio glows with Evolution, growing into a Venusaur!}
Saurio: I have reached my ultimate stage. For helping me, you all have my gratitude.

Purple: Well, Yellow! I'm moving on up and ahead! (Time to take advantage and quit Team Rocket once and for all.)
Purple: By checking my Pokedex, I'm starting to see what's strong and how they evolve! (Especially Eevee)
Purple: I'm going to the Pokemon League to boot out the Elite Four!
Yellow: You have 8 badges already?
Purple: Heh, all a matter of time! I'll become the worlds most powerful trainer!
Purple: Yellow, well, good luck to you! Don't sweat it! Smell ya!
{Purple Swaggers off}
Man: Oh, hi! You're not a Rocket! You came to save us?
Yellow: Yeah.
Man: Why, thank you! I want you to have this Pokemon for saving us. It's a very rare Lapras.
{Lapras is transported to Bill's Pc.}
Man: It's very intelligent. We kept it in our lab, but it will be much better off with you! I think you will be a good trainer for Lapras! (And, in the confusion cased by Team Rocket, I doubt it'll be missed much.) It's a good swimmer. It'll give you a lift!
{After healing, Yellow goes further ahead.}

Lumina: Of course they would be here.
Red Haired Woman: Our Boss is in a meeting! You better not disturb him!

Red Haired Woman: My move! Go, Arbok! (Lv 31)
Yellow: Psybeam again!
{Round 4: Arbok collapsed with one critical hit. Charles grows to level 33}

Yellow: Bruce, it's your turn! Double Kick!

{Yellow heals Charles with items, then opens the last shutter.}
Yellow: Giovanni!
Giovanni: Ah, Yellow! so we meet again! The President and I are discussing a vital business proposition. Keep your nose out of grown-up matters...
Giovanni: Or, experience a world of pain!

Giovanni: (Perhaps I have misjudged my choice of Types. But why do you oppose me?)
Charles: So this is your secret. You use your own psychic abilities and the Earth Badge to reinforce each other and control even wild pokemon. But Even if you had time to carry your more lethal tactics through, We have wills of our own (Ironic that a telepath would forget that), and you would have proven yourself to have no honor. Ironically, your best hope for survival is a straight fight.

Yellow: Switch in, Bruce!
Persian: Such an ugly appearance...
Bruce: These are your only thoughts? It's sad...

Yellow: Only one chance left, Giovanni.
Giovanni: Oh, I think you'll agree I saved my best for last. Nidoqueen! (Lv 41)
Yellow: Here's an old friend: Leviat the Gyarados! Water Gun!
{Round 5: Giovanni uses a Guard spec. on Nidoqueen. Leviat blasts her. Hp 109/109 vs 75%}
Yellow: Tch, she is strong.
Giovanni: Yes. Time you saw how strong. Body Slam!
{Round 6: Nidoqueen quickly slams into Leviat, who blasts her away with another Water Gun. Hp 79/109 vs 40%}
Yellow: There's no defense against this: Dragon Rage!

President Thank you for saving Silph! I will never forget that you saved us in our moment of peril! I have to thank you in some way! Because i am rich, I can give you anything! Here, maybe this will do!
{The president reaches into his coat ocket and pulls out a purple Poke Ball.}
President: You can't buy that anywhere! It's our secret prototype Master Ball! It will catch any Pokemon without fail!
Lumina: ...
President: You should be quiet about using it, though.
