13: All He Needs is a Miracle

A new letter from Uzuki arrives on the 18th, again asking Raguna to let her know if she finds clues to her brother's whereabouts.

The harvester in his inventory has seen little use since he earned it, so he goes around absorbing Runeys from different spots (Raguna's own farm seems to be filled with them) until he thinks he has enough to produce a miracle.

He goes around looking for Candy, who is waiting at the clock tower with Marco and enjoying the view. Candy asks him a few times what he wants to wish for. Raguna, feeling like he's placing an order at Rita's restaurant, decides to go with the fish. With Candy's singing and a few Water Runeys, she declares the next day "fish day". He releases the rest of the Runeys into the wild to avoid upsetting the spiritual balance of Trampoli farm.

Remembering that he also has crops stored underground, he goes down to the Green Ruins and waters them, while also forcibly befriending a slime named Puyo. The slime is not happy about being brushed, but Raguna doesn't even notice the slime on his brush Pet Glove until later.

The next morning brings about a harvest of strawberries and potatoes. No mail today, since it's a holiday.

At right around 9 AM, Raguna goes to visit Lute to order some expansions to his kitchen and forge, but Lute tells him it's too early to upgrade yet. He's gonna need a bigger house.

Since Kross isn't doing any carpentry work today, Raguna changes his plans and takes Puyo for a walk into the Green Ruins, starting with B3. He would have tried going to Whale Island, but for some reason, he can't reach it from the beanstalk today.

Armed with his trusty Fire Rod, Raguna slings around magic bolts like they're going out of style, and comes out of his journey two levels stronger than when he started. He heads down to B4 by himself, as Puyo is too injured to continue. There's an ominous locked door ahead, but Raguna decides not to open it right away, and takes the stairs back to the first floor.

Fish Day provides beneficial to Raguna, as all of the fish he encounters latch onto the hook on the first bite. It doesn't guarantee that Raguna will actually catch them, but he has a little bit more success than usual (five out of seven, with two level 5 fish caught).

What awaits Raguna behind Green Door #1? How much wood and gold will Raguna have to raise to pimp out his house? Why are there still characters missing in his "Relations" slot? Answers to these questions and more when we return! Until next time!
