As a returned favor to Raguna, Rosetta gives him a whopping 10,000G for all of the fish that he helped ship. He thanks her for the generous gift, and then goes to the Library to purchase some books from Selphy. He gets books on Gourmet Cooking and Expert Steaming, as well as an Ultimate Lab book, one which he can't fully utilize until he upgrades his cauldron for the next holiday. Later on in the day, he picks up a Farm Master guide, which should eventually help him upgrade beyond silver tools...once he finds the Snow ruins and picks up some gold and platinum.
After a short talk with Turner, he learns that the Zzyzx * Empire next to this country is making a move on the Kingdom of Norad, and is poised to invade.
At the end of the week (which is to say, Friday), Raguna grows his first spinach crop (and his first set of pineapples from the Lava Ruins. There's still plenty of time for his other crops to grow, so he tries to take good care of them until the time comes for them to be harvested. There's still so much to cook!
He updates Kanno on the situation with the incredible shrinking Rune Cluster. Kanno theorizes that those Runes might be migrating to a different area on the island, and asks Raguna to look around for any places where Runes would gather in large groups.
The rune situation leads to him having a cryptic dream about the disappearance of Runes at a factory somewhere, which apparently experienced the same phenomenon that Whale Island is going through right now. Uh-oh...
