Prologue: Welcomes and information

Hello, all who are currently reading this! This is the opening page of what will be the storage place for all my liveblogs of the Fire Emblem series of games. In here, I will be updating chapter by chapter as I play through the games and hopefully make those updates as fun to read as possible!

The next page will be a Table of Contents, since this will eventually get fairly large, and it will make categorizing which games are being covered in which liveblog installments much easier.

Continue forth onto the next page, and hopefully enjoy your time reading!

[Takes off hat.] Truly a great man has died. It is always a tragedy when great and honorable men defend unjust regimes because of their misguided loyalty towards their nation.

Also, good for Jake! It's a shame that there's no upgraded Ballistician, as going to level 30 doesn't nearly make up for it.

Yeah, I always feel bad killing Camus, because the entire point of his archetype is someone who you'd think you can recruit, but who you are completely unable to.

Yeah, it's rather sad that he can only reach level 30, but hey, he's a support unit, so he won't need the levels as much as a frontline fighter.

Spoilers: Camus lives.

Anywho, wow Gordin just killed Camus in two shots! I know he was maxed out, had both the Parthia, the Starsphere, and the Lightsphere, but still! Geez!

Good to know that Jake is getting up there.

...Minerva!! Maria!! No! ;_;

Yup, he comes back as Sirius, though that practically isn't a spoiler, since he didn't even bother to change out of those sweet threads of his (I can see why not, but it's not really conducive to being a spy).

The Lightsphere doesn't do much, but it's nice not dealing with lowered hit chances from forests and such. But yeah, I expected Camus to be a bit stronger than that, though I give him props for being able to deal a decent amount of damage (12 is pretty good compared to every other foe) to Gordin.

Yeah, Jake is steadily progressing in levels. He gains exp fast, and since his weapons can only eat up one use per turn, he doesn't have to deal with them running out too much.

Technically, he came back as Zeek first. Camus's plot is a plot that touches on all the Akaneia games.

Oh, huh. Is his disguise any better, or is he still just wearing his usual outfit and a mask?

Actually, he is unmasked (and thus has the same portrait as in FE1)

His outfit is red instead of the usual black.

The catch is that he didn't know he was Camus until the end of the game.

Oh, so no one goes "holy shit Camus, you're alive?" Or does that happen and his amnesia make him go "Who?"

His outfit is red now, so I suppose his outfit would be black as Zeek, if Fe2 got remade.

I'm curious how he discovers this fact, since that sounds fairly interesting.

The only other characters from Akaneia in Gaiden are the Whitewings who are 1.in the other story route (Zeek is in Alm, the Whitewings in Cellica) and 2.not associated with Camus anyway.

According to his ending, he recovers his memories during the war after joining with Alm.

EDIT:Oh, no. Camus's outfit is still pretty dark now, even if not actually black anymore. Zeek's outfit is a much lighter red. Kinda like, Cain red or enemy red.

Oh. Looked it up and apparently it takes place in a different area altogether. Makes sense why they show up then, since Camus is gonna be wandering around a lot and the Whitewings can fly.

I see, so that explains why after returning he dons the mask, so as not to be found out. Makes sense.

Okay, I see.
