Prologue: Welcomes and information

Hello, all who are currently reading this! This is the opening page of what will be the storage place for all my liveblogs of the Fire Emblem series of games. In here, I will be updating chapter by chapter as I play through the games and hopefully make those updates as fun to read as possible!

The next page will be a Table of Contents, since this will eventually get fairly large, and it will make categorizing which games are being covered in which liveblog installments much easier.

Continue forth onto the next page, and hopefully enjoy your time reading!

Actually, the T stands for Thor. Some people write it as "Tor" arguing "Tor as in Tordo" but Tordo and Thor are written noticeably differently in Japanese (I checked!)

Also, I forgot to mention this before, but Word Of God says that Claud and Sylvia aren't actually siblings, but cousins. The "Claud's missing sister" thing was a fake out I guess (and technically unresolved...)

And while I am on the subject of ill fitting trivia, Aida and Alvis have a son, Cyas, who is a major character in Thracia 776. He looks to be about 20, so I wouldn't be surprised if he was born before Alvis married Diadora. I don't think he is ever fully explained. Also, Aida dies protecting Cyas from the Lopto Sect between the generations, so if you thought you were going to get vengeance against her, sorry.

Also, just curious, but did you know about the twist before hand? I've been trying to not spoil it in these comments.

Oh, okay. Thorhammer is a badass spell name, I won't lie, although it's animation was kind of tame for a divine weapon. Just an exploding circle of lightning, nothing really crazy.

Alright, good, so I'm not having them become incestuous. It's just a distant bloodline sharing, sort of like Holyn and Aira.

Ida dies protecting a son we don't know about within a time frame that is likely to be left mostly as background info? Talk about a lame way to go. As for beating her, I honestly don't mind her. She really just sends us to Alvis, who does all the dirty work, and she tried to help us a bit with Reptor, so there's no big issue there.

I didn't know about the twist, although I had a hunch. I was wondering what was going to cause the future to be in the hands of everyones kids, and when Cuan and Ethlin got smoked, I got the feeling my guys weren't long for this world. I was actually kind of hopeful when Alvis welcomed us back, thinking maybe Manfloy's plot was simply going to expand after Alvis had his kid or something, and then everything would go to shit, but no, Alvis immolates everyone.
