Prologue: Welcomes and information
Hello, all who are currently reading this! This is the opening page of what will be the storage place for all my liveblogs of the Fire Emblem series of games. In here, I will be updating chapter by chapter as I play through the games and hopefully make those updates as fun to read as possible!
The next page will be a Table of Contents, since this will eventually get fairly large, and it will make categorizing which games are being covered in which liveblog installments much easier.

More boring backstory details: Maira is actually a rather major figure in the backstory, but I am not sure if the game goes into the majority of it. As mentioned, he was the younger brother of one of the Emperor Galles (another long story there). What wasn't mentioned was how he actually opposed the oppressive ways of the Lopto Empire and tried to benevolently harmonize the Lopto Church with the old religion, by placing Loptous among the high gods of the old religion. He and his followers went around saving people from being sacrificed, and eventually started a rebellion, but were defeated and exiled.
Maira himself would eventually pass on (as people do) and his descendents would hide in the Spirit Forest, with a vow to only have one child at most (as Maira had Minor Loptous, and thus if he and his descendents only have one heir per generation, some crazy Archbishop can't bread two Maira heirs to revive Loptous.) His followers would continue to rescue people from the Empire, one of which being the future Crusader Blaggi...
...I swear, I won't be getting into lore rambles with every post. Sorry.

I don't mind, those are all quite interesting, and it makes Manfloy's plot a bit more discernible.
