Prologue: Welcomes and information

Hello, all who are currently reading this! This is the opening page of what will be the storage place for all my liveblogs of the Fire Emblem series of games. In here, I will be updating chapter by chapter as I play through the games and hopefully make those updates as fun to read as possible!

The next page will be a Table of Contents, since this will eventually get fairly large, and it will make categorizing which games are being covered in which liveblog installments much easier.

Continue forth onto the next page, and hopefully enjoy your time reading!

I assume you didn't steal Narshen's Blue Gem because you're loaded down with arena gold.

One of the two Secret Shops was on the square Zeiss stood on, by the way, so you'll not get an opportunity to use the Member Card until chapter 21.

Hugh's stats decrease for every time you negotiate a lower price. How much did you pay?

I didn't steal the blue gem since Astol only had one free space in his inventory and Cath was too slow to do so. Plus I'm loaded on arena cash.

I didn't know where it was (blind run means I won't look up anything but the alternate routes and the obligatory chapter maps), and being chased by Douglas made me not really care about searching for it that much. I'm guessing it carried promotion items, such as a guiding ring that Ellen could have used?

I paid full price for Hugh, and actually hadn't read your comment about him in the previous chapter. I don't really see the family resemblance to Canas aside from the purple hair though.

Yeah, I was short on Hero Crests so I think I bought one here. It also contains Angelic Robes, and Lockpicks (as if you don't have enough to last two playthroughs by now).

The Secret Shop in 21 has every stat booster available for sale, as many as you want, including Boots. I never had a surplus of gold so I couldn't take full advantage of that, but perhaps you will.

If you can guess its location, that is. I'll give you a hint, you need a flying unit.

Thanks for the advance warning on this, since every stat booster for sale is the best thing ever, and my extra money needs somewhere to rest once the game nears its conclusion. Sadly, I don't know when I'll get my next guiding ring, but hopefully it's sometime soon...

Very likely to be Chapter 20 for you...

Wait what. Jeez, does this have to do with the second route split that is apparently going to happen? Gonna be a long time until Ellen can use those light tomes then...

Chapters 17-20x take you to either Ilia or Sacae depending on if Sue+Shin or Thany+Tate have gained more levels.

Sacae's difficulty is...well, the classes associated with Sacae..., and a couple of infuriating map designs.

Ilia has a lot of status staves and druids.

The Ilian recruit is worse than the Sacaen recruit but lets you perform the triangle attack.

Apparently Sacae is death on Hard Mode, I wouldn't know since I intentionally took Ilia on account of not having been there yet.

Sacae also has two Fog of War chapters, one at the beginning and one near the end. You will be really glad that you have the Delphi Shield for Miledy.

Seriously? Two fog of wars? Ah well, gonna be swimming in nomads for a while it seems, once I finish this gaiden chapter.
