In the middle of talking to a demon ghost Crimson shows up, destroys the frightened ghost for no really good reason, then tries to convince the Dungeon Maker to murder Niko, an innocent little boy whose only "crime" is being half witch. The Dungeon Maker explicitly states this is the point where he went from simply distrusting Crimson to outright hating him. |
| 2 | ** Just in case that event comes off more as a TakeThatScrappy to you, Crimson gets ''another'' really big KickTheDog moment later in the game, after Revenger is dead and the female character is playable. The Apprentice, wanting to know the truth about Crimson, goes to meet him in the fire ruin. When she arrives he tells her he's going to kill her, even though he doesn't know her at all or have any reason to dislike her, just because it'll make the Dungeon Maker sad. |

He's a most definitely underage boy (he appears to be 10 or 11 at the oldest) with a crush on an older man - the player character no less - and he is not shy about letting you know it. Even if you don't find his advances creepy, there's one point that pisses off everyone at least a little bit: that being when he makes a comment about how your character should throw your apprentice (a nice girl who is far more popular than Niko is) out onto the street so that he can move in with you. He quickly backpedals, explaining that it was only a joke and he's otherwise polite to the Apprentice, but many fans nonetheless found his "joke" to be firmly in tasteless territory. |

He's an old man who could be easily mistaken as looking like an old woman, thanks in part to his robes concealing most of his body. It doesn't help that the game rarely uses pronouns like him[=/=]her[=/=]etc to refer to him. |
