* CompleteMonster: Kilobot, ArchEnemy of Cubix, is the most vicious character in the series. Kilobot regularly drains innocent robots' life-energy throughout the series, wounding and plunging some of them into comas in the process. Though often acting on orders from Dr. K, Kilobot's lethal competency compared to his master results in him nearly successfully murdering the Botties many times over, as well as endangering an entire city with destruction to secure his goal. Unempathetic to his accidental murder of Dr. K's best friend, Kilobot's greatest showing of independence under Dr. K is to invade [=RobixCorp=] and threaten to bomb the entire building and its staff while forcing Maximix to fight his own friends as a brainwashed puppet. Eventually betraying Dr. K, Kilobot temporarily murders Maximix, takes control of an army of Zombots, then plans to use them to turn every robot into his slave and conquer the world. When his plans are thwarted, Kilobot makes one last attempt on Cubix's life by crushing Cubix's EPU with his bare hands.
* EnsembleDarkhorse: Abby's robot pet, Don-Don and the malfunctioning Attractix robot, dubbed Kan-it By Dr K because it wouldn't stop singing. %%Helps that he was voiced by the late crocodile hunter Creator/SteveIrwin in the English dub.
** As for the human characters, Conner's father, Grant, mainly for the ship-Teasing he gets with Helen and the fact that he's voiced by Dan Green. Also Helen Herself gets this treatment for being a CoolBigSis to the Botties.
* MagnificentBastard: Kilobot is the most effective robot Dr. K ever invented, and establishes himself as the most dangerous, competent villain in the series. Using his power to absorb the [=EPUs=] of any robot, Kilobot regularly ambushes and drains robots of their powers and appearances, using their forms to surprise opponents with new moves or to flat-out bypass security measures in disguise. Overseeing Dr. K's schemes and coming the closest to ensuring their success, Kilobot's growing intelligence clashes with his disenfranchisement at Dr. K's abusive nature until Kilobot finally decides to betray his master. Manipulating Dr. K into developing an army of Zombots with technology Kilobot cleverly obtained on his own accord, Kilobot takes control of the Zombots himself and declares his intention to TakeOverTheWorld, nearly succeeding after he apparently destroys both Cubix and Maximix with his sheer power.
* MoralEventHorizon: If Kilobot didn’t cross it by trying to blow up everyone in a building, then he certainly did with his brutal murder of Maximix.
* NightmareFuel: Kilobot is certainly this. He is a threatening and dark robot who is able to terrify everyone around him.
* SoOkayItsAverage: As the years went, it developed said reputation. Not terrible, but not especially memorable.
* Tearjerker: Cubix sacrificing himself to stop Kulminator in the final episode of season 1. Despite the sadness of it all being diluted thanks to Connor refusing to give up on the former and bringing him back to life, it can still make even the most hardened of people cry what with Professor Nemo's belief that without any solex, there'd be no way to bring Cubix back as well as The Botties choosing to let Connor be on his own out of sympathy.
* TheProblemWithLicensedGames: Cubix: Race'n Robots for the Platform/PlayStation and PC features awkward controls, terrible hit detection, the difficulty waffles between unbelievably fast AI opponents and incredibly slow opponents (especially when you get the Zero-g engine 2000), and Story Mode can be beaten within an hour, even on hard.
