* {{Adorkable}}: Jimmy Pop. His childlike sensibilities, cute face and genuine charisma have earned him a ''lot'' of crushes from fans of the band, especially on the rare occasion that he [[HeCleansUpNicely puts a little effort into his appearance]], such as in the "Unn Tiss Unn Tiss Unn Tiss" video.
* AmericansHateTingle: Defaming both the Ukrainian and Russian flags on stage will do that to you.
* CoveredUp: "Along Comes Mary" was originally by The Association. True, while the original was a top ten hit back in it's day it also came out back in ''1966''. The Bloodhound Gang version came out more than thirty years later and introduced it to a whole new generation.
* CrossesTheLineTwice
** "A Lap Dance Is So Much Better When the Stripper Is Crying" begins with "I was lonelier than [[Series/{{Roots1977}} Kunta Kinte]] at a Music/MerleHaggard concert..." It not only goes downhill from there, but somehow manages to slide further and further with each passing line.
** All of their puns. ''All of them.''
---> "Serious Levis? So tight, can't be classified, that's why I'm here to fill that opening."
* EpicRiff
** The bass line to "The Bad Touch".
** The bobbing guitar licks in "Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo" are way catchier than they have any right to be.
* GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff
** They're very popular in Germany and other European countries thanks to the euro dance influence of some of their later songs, many of which were remixed by respected euro dance [=DJ=]s. The chart performance of "The Bad Touch" perfectly demonstrates their popularity in Europe. While the song fizzled out at #52 in America it became a massive hit all across Europe. Reaching number one in multiple European countries and cracking the top ten in several others.
** For similar reasons, they're also very popular in the Netherlands and Scandinavia. Jimmy Pop infamously crashed a Vengaboys concert in 1999, footage of which appeared in their video for "Forever As One," and would occasionally cover "Boom Boom Boom Boom" while touring the Netherlands.
* HilariousInHindsight: "The Ballad of Chasey Lain"'s framing device of a series of increasingly desperate, unhinged letters from a LoonyFan would be used much more famously and much more seriously later the same year by Music/{{Eminem}} on the song "[[Music/TheMarshallMathersLP Stan]]".
* MemeticMutation: "Aww, shit! Here comes Pac-Man!" from the ''Hooray for Boobies'' cut "Mope". No doubt aided by the famously strange web animation using that moment.
* RefrainFromAssuming: "The Bad Touch" ("the Discovery Channel song") and "Fire Water Burn" ("The Roof Is On Fire", which ironically is the title of the SampledUp example below).
* SampledUp: The Music/PetShopBoys [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ahvc2b40jFg B-side]] they used for "The Bad Touch", and "Fire Water Burn" incorporates the chorus of "The Roof Is on Fire" by Rock Master Scott & the Dynamic Three. "The Ballad of Chasey Lane" is based in part on a Depeche Mode B-side.
* SignatureSong: "The Bad Touch" and "Fire Water Burn"; the former arguably more-so.
* {{Squick}}
** As if the many poop jokes on ''Hefty Fine'' weren't enough, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMZn0yRgGro Diarrhea Runs in the Family]]" consists solely of a band member's bowel movement.
** Oh, and let's not forget the uncensored version of "The Bad Touch", which, instead of concluding with the mime getting roadkilled, concludes with the band members [[NauseaFuel spraying around and eating fake turd]].
** Some live performances of "Screwing You on the Beach at Night" are accompanied by a video on the back wall featuring a naked guy getting kneed repeatedly in the genitals. Why? Who knows.
