29	** Taken up a notch when we find out that [[spoiler: Martian roaches managed to get Bugs I operational, launched it to Earth, and despite it being successfully shot down, have survived and established a colony and have been infiltrating human society for over 16 years with only Japan and the U.S. mounting any kind of resistance.]] Their speed and proficiency in reading maps, using electronic devices like computers and cell phones, and the fact that they're specifically ''not'' AxeCrazy [[OmnicidalManiac Omnicidal Maniacs]], but act with deliberate precision and premeditation, coordinating their every move is completely chilling, especially considering the fact that they don't care about their own lives as long as they complete the mission objective.
30	* OnlyTheAuthorCanSaveThemNow: The Terraformars have practically unlimited members at their home planet. No matter how many are killed, they just keep coming much stronger and smarter than before. The heroes escape Mars by the skin of their teeth just to find the roaches had forces on Earth with the support of a human faction since the BUGS II mission. By the time the series got on hiatus, the roaches were swiftly building strongholds around the world and everyone was jobbing pathetically to the Invoker, with no sort of solution in sight to prevent the invasion and much less to colonize Mars as planned.

32	** The TV broadcast got more attention for the ludicrous censorship than anything else.
33	** The roaches' suspicious resemblance to racist caricatures has also become more well-known than the actual plot.
34	* ThisIsYourPremiseOnDrugs: A cheesy gornfest premise about murderous, goofy-looking alien roaches that wouldn't be out of place in a C-list 80's horror film, played ''terrifyingly straight''.

Certainly not helping matters is that in a later episode they hold pistols sideways or GangstaStyle.
