5	* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: In addition to the likes of Music/JudasPriest's "You've Got Another Thing Comin'" and Music/BlueOysterCult's "DontFearTheReaper", the music written for the game by the in-universe band The Fuzz Brothers is pretty awesome.
6	* CrossesTheLineTwice: The game's humor was considered crass even for its time. Today, the jokes feel absolutely ''unhinged''. The absolutely ridiculousness of it all is as audacious as it is disarming.
7	* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: Several, many involving The Daredevils gang, a bunch of [[UsefulNotes/BritishAccents English-sounding]] clowns who scream "Wanker!" at the slightest provocation. There's also a talk radio show you can listen to about cars and weapons that's not only fairly hilarious, but also offers a handy guide to some of the fun toys you get later in the game.
8	* GoddamnBats: Enemy cars with cluster rockets or missiles can shred your health to pieces if you're not paying attention. Most on-foot enemies are hilariously weak and can barely do anything unless they're in big numbers, but the rocket-launcher pedestrians can ruin your whole day, and in a large group they're downright terrifying.
9	* HarsherInHindsight: The right-wing talk radio host Stu Pickles mentions that [[ThePlague the Rot]] killed most of the Republicans in America. While the UsefulNotes/COVID19Pandemic wasn't nearly as extreme as the Rot, it was noted that deaths from it in the US were concentrated in more conservative-leaning areas, which many doctors and scientists attributed to the greater resistance to masking, vaccination, and other pandemic control measures among American conservatives and the Republican Party.
10	* SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome: In a near-end of the game [[CutscenePowerToTheMax cutscene]], Mason stares down four Sentinels on the steps of Paradise City Hall. He's got two pistols, and shoots all but one of the Sentinels before he runs out of shots. Just as the forth one is about to shoot him, [[PistolWhipping he flings an empty pistol at him, knocking him out.]]

14	* GrowingTheBeard: Finnegan in the literal sense, but about the time he does, he and Freiburger's relationship on the show has gelled considerably and the show has established its voice.

17	* ClicheStorm: A lot of commentators noticed how old-hat a lot of the story seemed, with scandals about drugs and illegitimate children, as well as stereotypical depictions of government and judiciary.
