* {{Anvilicious}}: For the entire series of ''Series/{{Arrow}}'', Oliver has been accused of succumbing to the darkness within him. This part really goes too far, when he is urged not to kill Deegan even though they could use the Book to undo it.
* FridgeLogic:
** Superman says that Lois needs to go to Argo, to have her pregnancy. Near the end of the episode, after he has proposed to her, they have sex, with no sign of him being Depowered. If she can handle that, why does she need to be on Argo???
*** Justified by the fact that Clark is an adult with years of experience with how to handle the strength of his powers. Their unborn child most certainly would not have the same, and given the uniqueness of their situation, they don't know what could happen during the pregnancy or birth.
** Deegan threatens to kill Barry if they don't surrender the book. Oliver's response is to draw a Kryptonite Arrow and boast: "Not if I kill you first!" It sounds cool at first but:
*** Oliver previously attempted this twice with Overgirl. He only hit the first time because she wasn't expecting it. The second time, she caught the arrow and snapped it.
*** While this Arrow contains a larger chunk of Kryptonite, Deegan has Barry in a headlock. Does he really think he can shoot him before he snaps Barry's neck?
*** Alternatively, he could use Barry as a human shield.
*** All in all, Oliver does not have the advantage and there is no reason to think so, except for the writers being idiots as usual.
* IKnewIt: Many fans predicted that next year's crossover would be ''[[Series/CrisisOnInfiniteEarths2019 Crisis on Infinite Earths]]''.
* {{Narm}}:
** Barry urging Oliver not to kill Deegan even if it will save his own life.
** Kara and Barry dying...by going at a measly Mach 7. Both have gone considerably faster -- Barry in particular has used his speed to not only jump dimensions but travel through time, amongst other feats.
** Lois suggesting that Supergirl might be even better at protecting Earth than Superman because women are better than men in a crisis. Regardless of your opinion on that issue, the comment is fairly out of place in an otherwise emotional goodbye scene.
* SignatureScene:
** The Superman vs. Superman MirrorMatch.
** The Psycho Pirate's ramblings at the end, heralding the upcoming Crisis.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: Barry from Earth-90. Due to his appearance in the prologue of the crossover, many were led to believe [[DecoyProtagonist he had an important part to play]], except that when he finally arrived on Earth-1 to help its heroes, the Monitor effortlessly spirited back to his own world. He didn't even return to help in the FinalBattle against Deegan.
* UnexpectedCharacter:
** Who expected ''Gary'' of all people to make an appearance?
