''You Didn't Ask for This'', or YDAFT (yuh-daft/[[ViewerPronunciationConfusion why-daft/Y-D-A-F-T/ee-daft]]) for short, is a ''Franchise/TouhouProject'' webcomic made by Reddit user [=BlackDragonTribe=] in the Walfas engine, published on r/touhou. The main comic covered the various mishaps and misadventures of the girls of an alternate Gensokyo. [[CerebusSyndrome As a plot developed]], the original comic would eventually come to an end, replaced by a new series called YDAFT [Gensokyo Days] with a greater emphasis on confining itself to silly side happenings and short inconsequential arcs, as well as Gensokyo Late-Night for comics based on requests submitted by fans. [Gensokyo Days] is subsequently replaced by [Gensokyo Life] due to CerebusSyndrome of the [=PC98=] arc, with the arc itself being on hiatus.

YDAFT also has its own subreddit, which features archives of the original and [GD] as well as several spinoffs, such as the now-concluded [Backstage] where BDT and other users' original characters could come together, the New World to replace it, and other people's fancomics, listed below.

!!BDT's main YDAFT comics contain the following tropes:
* AuthorAvatar: An entity known simply as "Black" is used to represent the author in-comic.
* BigDamnHeroes: [[spoiler:PC-98 Yuuka appears right before 98 can kill Marisa and Alice, even battling against 98 over several episodes.]]
* BlackComedyRape: One of the ways [[ShipperOnDeck Flandre and Koishi]] try to get Remilia and Satori together is by locking them both in a room and not letting them out until they "get steamy."
* CerebusSyndrome: YDAFT started out as a series of humorous one-shots with little in the way of an overarching plot. Eventually though, the comic would enter into a serious StoryArc where [[spoiler:the PC-98 version of Reimu, depicted as a violent demon, gets reawakened and goes on a rampage]].
* CharacterFilibuster: [[spoiler:Yukari insists on dropping an entire flashback of 98's backstory when [[RaceAgainstTheClock 98 only gives her 24 hours before going on a rampage]] and even attacking Marisa for trying to get her to condense the story into its key points. Deconstructed as this leads to Yukari spending so much time talking about the backstory that 98's already rampaging through Gensokyo during the filibustering and she's still not done with the backstory by the time Daiyousei calls for help.]]
* CostumeEvolution: Several in fact:
** Marisa's appearance has changed over the course of the comic. She started out in her ''Subterranean Animism'' design, before getting a new and wholly original look later on.
** Sanae also gets one later when she “evolves” like a Pokemon and gets an upgraded version of her usual outfit.
** Sakuya gains a pair of dog ears offscreen when one of Patchouli’s rituals go wrong.
** Meiling dyed her hair black very early on in the comic since her future self said that Sakuya would compliment her new look.
* EnemyWithout: [[spoiler:PC-98 (98 for short) Reimu is this to Reimu, as they are said to be the same yet are depicted as separate entities in the main comic, with 98 being locked into a RoaringRampageOfRevenge over the [[FantasticRacism Head]] [[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist Priest]] killing off Rumia, her [[ParentalSubstitute parental figure]]. Also crosses into TheHeartless.]]
* FanCreatedOffspring:
** The comic features clones of Reimu and Marisa named Reihaku and Marisame. In a recursive instance of this trope, they also had children named Reikiri and Musa.
** Tewi and Sunny Milk has a trio of rabbit-fairies called Carrot, Lettuce and Mochi.
** [GL] also features Riku and Maria, far future descendants of Reimu and Marisa.
* NoMouth: Reimu has no mouth, but is still able to speak. Initially this was because having no mouth was used to represent a blank expression, until it evolved into being a part of Reimu's character. This is a trait shared by most of Reimu's [[AlternateSelf variations]].
* OneWingedAngel: This is a shared trait between all generations of the Hakurei Shrine Maiden, though [[spoiler:only 98 has unsealed this power through [[ThePowerOfHate sheer hatred of the Head Priest's actions]] so far]].
* OriginalCharacter: There are way too many to list, though they don't detract from the Touhou shenanigans.
* ShipperOnDeck: Flandre and Koishi both want their older sisters to become a couple.

!!Tropes for fancomics made by other YDAFT users:

[[foldercontrol]]

[[folder:In general]]
* ADogNamedDog: DOG, an incredibly rude and foul-mouthed [[LittleBitBeastly dog girl]] who lives in a trash can and hates everyone. The joke is that she's a bitch.
* AlternateSelf: Referred to as Variants for most characters, or [[TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons Echoes]] for dragon characters.
* AlternateUniverse: Each FC is their own universe, with [Backstage] and the New World acting as an InnBetweenTheWorlds for the characters to interact in.
* AuthorAvatar: Cap and Lily (OWW); Kris, Smeiden and Cooler Meiling (YAI); Neptune ([=FEx=]); Rey (KC); Dan and [[EvilKnockoff Cooler Dan]] (DWC), Blue Touzhi (TNWA)
* CastHerd: Within an FC, the individual characters are usually grouped up into specific teams.
** OWW:
*** Legion: Cap, Lily, Monica, Joanne, Carrie, Sylvia, Corey
*** Momentum: Tracy, Melissa, Mason, Yvonne, Leslie, Lloyd, [=UnDrawn=]
*** Eientein’t: Tsukihime, Yamako, Rey, Iris, Terese, Venezia
*** Unofficial Science Club and Trick-Stars: May, Jade, Shenton, Honey, “Pyra”, Kass
*** Magus Night: Minoa, Manny, Marisa, Percy, Cara, Rochelle
*** Other OWW: Allegretto, Surname, Inagami, Verity, Rocket, Azuki
*** Treasury: Zafer, Iridium, Tiamat, Jabberwock, Lawrence, Tarrasque, Dragon Turtles, Bahamut, True Dragons
*** Miscellaneous OWW: [[VideoGame/AmongUs Starship Chelonian]], Skelmet, Helpers, Rokkappa, Mau Tim, Kokuryu
** YAI:
*** TUF: Kris, Mayris, Hikaru (Leader), Tensai, Golden, Wuis, Osore
*** The Blindfolds: High Boss (“O”), Consciousness, Kindness, Colourless, Darkness, Soundless, Yatty
** [=FEx=]:
*** Neptunia: Neptune, Blanc, Uni, Noire, Vert, Plutia, Rom, Ram, Nepgear, Peashy
*** Chaos Gods: Khorne, Nurgle, Slaneesh, Tzeentch
* EvenTheGirlsWantHer: Expected when ImprobablyFemaleCast is active, but special points goes to Sylvia, who manages to befriend several characters from all across FC just by being her "Mix of AloofDarkHairedGirl, CoolBigSis AND CreepyLonerGirl" self.
* GadgeteerGenius: Tensai, Carrie, Mason and Rokkappa.
* ImprobablyFemaleCast: As to be expected from a Touhou fan work. There are still more males than Touhou canon, though.
* KnightOfCerebus: Darkness and Consciousness in YAI, and Nidrugg in KC. The comics they appear in tend to be more serious than other comics of their respective [=FCs=].
* NoFourthWall: Characters tend to have certain levels of meta-awareness. How much varies from between [=FCs=].
* OneSteveLimit: Averted. Lily and Marisa shares names with existing Touhou characters.
* OriginalCharacter: Many of the fancomics tend to put more emphasis on these than on Touhou characters.
* OurDragonsAreDifferent: We have [[TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons the Chromatic, Metallic and Gem Dragons]], [[LegendaryCarp a lobster that climbed up the same waterfall as the carp and got promoted]], dragon turtles transformed from dragonflesh abominations that act like [[Manga/CellsAtWork the Neutrophils]], CompositeCharacter of mythological and D&D Tiamat, [[Literature/{{Jabberwocky}} Jabberwock]] (which is actually a [[LegacyCharacter title]] passed on to [[MasterOfIllusion illusion specialist dragons]]), and a Tarrasque. They are most often seen in OWW and [=FEx=].
* OurZombiesAreDifferent: Two wildly different takes. OWW has May, who is only partially zombified but still has cues common in OWW zombies of liking seafood as a replacement for human flesh (May in particular likes [[TrademarkFavouriteFood grilled squid]]) and therefore good swimmers and fishers despite low motor control on land. [=FEx=] has the [[VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening Risen]], which are highly adaptable as shown in the [=FEx=] folder below.
* PalsWithJesus: Many, MANY of the characters in the fancomics are gods or godlike beings, who can hang out with the lesser mortals on a whim.
* ProtagonistTitle: DOG is the protagonist of the DOG comics.
* SchoolUniformsAreTheNewBlack: According to Kris, Character!BDT is only seen in a school uniform. Multiple OWW characters are also rarely seen in casual clothing.
* SitcomArchNemesis:
** While rarely explored, this is the (intended) dynamic between [=FEx=] Grima and [=KiriComics=] Grima.
** Lily and Kris during [Backstage], with Kris's {{Jerkass}} tendencies rubbing Lily the wrong way.
* VileVillainSaccharineShow: The villainous characters are all highly threatening and are all KnightOfCerebus in the otherwise comedy filled [=FCs=].
* VitriolicBestBuds: Within an FC we have Lily/Carrie, Lily/Joanne and Kris/Wuis. Across more than 1 FC Lily/Kris (post-Backstage) is this.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Outcast's Walfas Weirdness (OWW)]]
An FC that runs on memes, bizarre situations befalling characters from across all of the [=FCs=]. Further info of the Legion, "Pyra" (as [[HelloInsertNameHere The Avatar]]) and Tiamat can be found at the Sandbox of Sandbox/TheTropingAlliancer. Most characters from OWW have existed before the FC itself, with pre-OWW versions of the characters described with the prefix “Proto” below.

* AdaptationalNiceGuy: The Chromatic Dragons are AlwaysChaoticEvil back in Dungeons and Dragons from their conception to early 5th Edition. in OWW, most of them have their positive traits and positive spins on their traits put to the forefront.
* AdaptationalWimp: Cooler Dan is a KnightOfCerebus in DWC, but is reduced to an IronButtMonkey in OWW.
* AlternateSelf: Variants of characters are common within OWW, with Variants of characters from other [=FCs=] being created as well. Known Variants with more than 1 major appearance include Rocket (WarIsHell Lily) and Inagami (AsianFoxSpirit Carrie).
** "Pyra" is an interesting example as their depiction of OWW also involves their characterisation in the [[Roleplay/EnterTheArenaAsYourAvatar Arena]].
* ArtShift: The punchline for 598 involves Corey briefly imitating [[VisualNovel/HigurashiWhenTheyCry Shion’s]] EvilLaugh as a stress removal tactic (her regular laugh already sounds like Shion’s infamous EvilLaugh). Sylvia implies it’s due to Strongest Cirno’s usage of Hollow Purple in KC that allows the two of them to briefly break through the limits of Walfas for a visual gag.
* AxCrazy: "There are 3 categories of OWW characters: Homicidal, silly little creatures, and homicidal sillies."
* BurnScarsBurningPowers: “Pyra”. Their burns sometimes burst into MagicFire. The "burn scars" bit is only implied in Walfas as their scars have moved to their back when in the NW and therefore usually non-visible, while outside of Walfas these burns are highly visible, covering most of their right side.
** ImmuneToFire: As a result "Pyra" cannot be hurt by fire, becoming a WomanOnFire with ElementalAbsorption. Visually only their right side is ignited when this happens.
* CanonImmigrant: Several named characters have made appearances in other [=FCs=], with these events considered canon to the FC they cameo in.
* CheshireCatGrin: VERY common as a trolling face, especially with pranksters like Honey. (The same mouth part is also used as a SlasherSmile.)
* CreepyCute: A lot of the characters have at least one unnerving trait surrounding them, yet are still overall pleasant people.
* CreepyGood: A lot of the characters have at least one unnerving trait surrounding them, yet are still overall willing to help others.
* DenserAndWackier: OWW’s orientation compared to other [=FCs=].
* EnsembleCast: Outside of [[EarlyInstallmentWeirdness the very first episodes focusing on Lily]], OWW tries to dedicate at least one episode to every named character across all of FC.
* {{Expy}}: Eientein't is this to the Eientei Crew: Tsukihime/Kaguya; Yamako/Mokou; Rey/Reisen; Terese/Tei and Iris/Eirin.
* FireIceLightning: Several trios follow this patterns (done in order):
** Matahari (Momentum): Tracy, Mason, Yvonne
** Trick-Stars: “Pyra”, [[IceMagicIsWater Kass]], Honey
** Twins+1: Sylvia, Either Lily or Verity, Corey
** Minoa’s Workshop: Minoa, Cara, Rochelle, with Rochelle’s Lightning being a reference to [[VideoGame/{{Aikatsu}} Rin’s “Dancing Bolt” epithet.]]
* TheGadfly: A common trait of OWW characters, ranging from prankster Honey [[SuicideAsComedy hanging herself to spook people]] (note: she is immune to asphyxiation so she isn’t affected by this at all), to ShrinkingViolet Joanne saying [[TheTease “ara ara ufufu”]] to unnerve others. (It’s her BattleCry of sorts, being so unexpected and creepy it intimidates the target)
* HandicappedBadass: Being disabled doesn't prevent OWW characters from being highly threatening combatants. DisabilitySuperpower and DisabilityImmunity also comes into play, with the [=DisImmunity=] CastHerd (May, Tracy, Yvonne, Honey, "Pyra", Kass) named after and running on the latter.
* TheHeartless: Lily's Rage Form is a defence mechanism formed by her repressed negative emotions. She embraced it and the two are under SymbioticPossession, not unlike a [[Franchise/{{Persona}} Persona User]].
* HidingBehindYourBangs: Downplayed. Sylvia in Walfas, and thus most of the comics, has a visible scarred eye, but in external media (and a hand-drawn [=KiriComics=] panel), she covers it with her hair. The hair-over-eye design is the official one.
* ItRunsOnNonsensoleum: The tagline of OWW.
* {{Kaiju}}: The Tarrasque can grow to such sizes. Her stomach acts as a WombLevel in this state, which can be utilised as a form of protection - people can [[FantasticVoyagePlot hide inside her stomach]].
** Venezia DungeonCrawling inside Tarrasque in 600 also points towards GeniusLoci.
* MarionetteMaster: Minoa specialises in dolls and robots.
* {{Miko}}: Verity practices a weird mix of Touhou-styled Shinto and Taoism.
* MundaneMadeAwesome: Proxy Skills, which are Weaponisations of various aspects of a character or show the characters are making a ShoutOut to.
* ParodiesForDummies: “Pyra” is reading Bass Guitar for Dummies in 583. Bass Guitar is an actual entry in the For Dummies series.
* PlayfulCatSmile: Honey's default expression, also common with other OWW characters to express cheekiness.
* RelaxOVision: PlayedForLaughs in 567 where Honey pulls out a screen to block out Wuis and Osore from YAI [[UnusualEuphemism “getting steamy”]], leaving the viewers with before and after the scene.
* SailorEarth: Rokkappa is this to the Genbu Ravine kappas. "Pyra" is this to the Neptunia side of [=FEx=], representing [[VisualNovel/KatawaShoujo 4LS]] courtesy of their inspiration.
* ShoutOut: [[ReferenceOverdosed Constantly references other works of media]], usually works of manga. This list details ones that have recurring appearances.
** Anime/{{Aikatsu}}: Most named characters are given types and Original Generation brands via OWW. A RunningGag is that Nep from [=FExYDAFT=] hates the show.
*** Marisa's AffectionateNickname by Verity is "Risappe".
*** Tsukihime’s light pink Yamaha Vino is called the Daytripper (as in [[VisualPun Light Pink Day Tripper]]).

** Manga/AzumangaDaioh: Several comics reference specific strips.

*** 498 references the giraffe hat from Supplementary Lessons.
** Manga/BloomIntoYou: There are copies of Bloom Into You in libraries.
** Literature/DorkDiaries: Proto-Shenton and Proto-Minoa started as [[{{Expy}} “Brandon and Mackenzie with an OWW twist”]]. Due to DerivativeDifferentiation Shenton’s a [[{{Animorphism}} therianthrope]] from Brandon, Manitoba (therefore subtly keeping the reference) while Minoa develops into a VirtuousCharacterCopy, a LovableAlphaBitch with an emphasis on the “lovable”.
** Manga/GirlsLastTour: The duo of Rocket and Azuki takes cues from Chito and Yuuri, but are not full Expies of them.
** VisualNovel/KatawaShoujo: Main motif of an arc-slash-gameplay log starting from 544, surrounding adaptations of certain scenes with OWW’s DenserAndWackier style, [=DisImmunity=] essentially taking the opportunity to do a FilmFic.
*** This goes as far back as a Bonus Panel near the very beginning, with Lily commenting on how adding a single L to her name results in someone different.
*** "Pyra"'s burns cover their right side.
*** 546 is titled “Pseudo Tea Cosy” in the archive, after the scene where Hisao first meets Lilly.
*** 547 is based on "MeetCute", after Emi's CrashIntoHello, plus roping Mayris from YAI to portray Hisao.
*** Panels 3 and 4 of 548 is based on "A Private Lunch" (meeting Rin).
*** 550 is based on "Exercise", specifically the decisive choice between Emi's route and Rin's route/Act 1 Bad End, plus a demonstration of "Pyra"'s SaveScumming ability.
*** 551 starts off referencing "The Deep End" (the Act 1 Bad End) before "Pyra" save scums Mayris to another route.
*** 554 references "[=Nc5xb3=]", with the first half incorporating "Pyra"'s ninja motifs for the [[MundaneMadeAwesome Weaponisation]] aspect of the FilmFic arc.
*** 555 is titled "Short Sharp Shock" in the archive, named after the Shizune and Misha variant of Emi's CrashIntoHello.
*** 556 is based on the CG during "Earl Grey", with Honey using her [[ShockAndAwe Thunderhand]] to shock whomever she's feeling the face of.
*** Final panel of 559 is based on "Piracy on the High Seas", especially Emi's line about putting "pirate" in her career form.
*** 560 is primarily based on "Underwater and a Maple with a Name", specifically with [[WiseTree Yggdrasil]] acting as the "Worry Tree" here.
*** 583 is a parody of “Shared Library”, with “Pyra” and Dan from DWC reenacting Hanako’s EstablishingCharacterMoment. (Honey’s line indicates that “Pyra”’s trying to reference this scene as their CharacterCatchphrase.)
** Manga/KOn: Usually depicting the Benders as pre-Azusa HTT.
*** 441 has a trio of Risen groan Fuwa Fuwa Time.
*** 458 is based on the translation notes in the English translation of chapter 45 (the Romeo and Juliet chapter).
*** Bonus Panel 2 of 566 has Joanne dual wielding guitars and Monica with drumsticks, showing us they portray Mio and Ritsu respectively. (Having two guitars is also a reference to Manga/BocchiTheRock with Joanne as Bocchi.)
*** 568 partially references the beach episodes, with the archive title referencing HTT.
*** Joanne’s recurring [[StatusInflictionAttack Guaranteed Status Bomb]] for her Mio themed Weaponisation in 574 is based on the blue-white rice bowl used as a RelaxOVision for the infamous PantyShot. Its associated StatusEffect, [[CharmPerson Charmed]], also references Mio’s fanclub after the incident. In the same episode, Monica swaps her usual headband for her Ritsu Weaponisation, already using a headband to hold her bangs in place.
*** 581 focuses on the Weaponisation aspect, with Kirike obtaining a WaveMotionGun Weaponising Ritsu’s ForeheadOfDoom and Kris being able to shoot his eyebrows Weaponising Mugi’s BigOlEyebrows. (These were meant for Monica and Carrie respectively.)
*** 596 continues Carrie Weaponising Mugi's BigOlEyebrows, becoming an ActionBomb when her eyebrows are removed as grenade pins. This is also a direct reference to the Volume 3 skit.
** VideoGame/MarioAndLuigi: The Twins being able to use Bros Attacks goes way back, before their appearance in KC.
*** 158 depicts them using some of their Bros. Attacks. EarlyInstallmentWeirdness applies as some of these are retconned away later on.
*** 222 has them reference the LightningFireJuxtaposition in Superstar Saga, with the Twins even wearing the hat of the Bro corresponding to the element. The title instead references WesternAnimation/TheSuperMarioBrosMovie.
*** 559 references Dream Team, with DreamWalker Joanne joining the fight.
*** 562 has Sylvia complain about the wonkiness of the tilt control based Bros and Luiginary Attacks.
** Manga/OnePiece: Mostly [[DualWielding Santoryu]] being surprisingly common in OWW, but there have been comics and discussions about One Piece other than Santoryu.
*** Known Triple Wielders include May, Corey, Joanne and a variant of Sabote from [=LDitR=].
*** A DWC variant of Lily has access to the powers of the Gum-Gum Fruit (no Gear 5, sorry)
** Manga/RozenMaiden:
*** The Margas are directly inspired by the titular dolls, with [=FEx=] Grima taking the role of Jun after befriending all 7 of them.
*** Rochelle has a Suigintou profile picture.
** Manga/WataMote: Characters are casted in a FilmFic of the manga, with themed comics serving as commentary of new chapters.
*** There are actually three versions, named after the person portraying Tomoko: Amongus-Mote, silently dropped after Sylvia debuted, Sylvia-Mote, the most common one for commentaries, and Mason-Mote, surrounding Mason.
*** Verity portrays [[CreepyChild Kii]] across all versions due to Kii suffering from AmericansHateTingle by the OWW cast in-universe and therefore no one else wanting the role.
*** 281 references [=TomoMote=] using Lily, Nep and Kris instead of any of the standard casting or Lily-Monica-Joanne.
** The Legion being an AbsurdlyPowerfulStudentCouncil in later comics takes cues from [[https://creationcabin.com/child/book/978-988-79842-4-5/ this]].
*** This has led to the Twins being a pair of oddly competent StudentCouncilPresident, often portraying student council characters with Weaponisation. (The current list outside of the main shout-out: [[Manga/KOn Nodoka Manabe]] (shared), [[Manga/WataMote Megumi Imae]] (shared but mostly Sylvia), and [[VisualNovel/KatawaShoujo Shizune Hakamichi]] (Sylvia, but can swap with Corey’s Misha in combat).)
* {{Slapstick}}: Anyone regardless of FC can suffer AmusingInjuries.
* SuckySchool: Evertree used to be cursed to have an endless cycle of bullying. The school got better after a change of staff.
* SuperiorTwinTeamwork: The Twins, Sylvia and Corey, can do Bros. Attacks, complete with Advance follow-ups. Clearly [[VideoGame/MarioAndLuigi they learned from the best.]]
* SuperToughness: The Twins have honed their defenses to truly superhuman levels, while Rochelle is [[TrainingDummy built for combat training]] and therefore can shrug off whatever technique is thrown at her.
* TalkingWithSigns: This is Kass's favoured method of communicating, usually represented as a box speech bubble in lieu of a physical sign due to TheLawOfConservationOfDetail. She's also fluent in [[VisualPun sign language]].
* ThemeTable: Many a Discussion of the Day includes the OWW cast’s motifs within the discussed Topic.
* WrongTurnAtAlbuquerque: 609 has the War Duo getting onto the Tohoku Expressway instead of the Hokuriku Expressway at Tsuruga Castle, ending up at [[VideoGame/TouhouShinpirokuUrbanLegendInLimbo Higashifukami High (the [=LDitR =] take anyways)]], Kanagawa instead of their intended destination at Gifu.

A MassiveMultiplayerCrossover of VideoGame/FireEmblem, VideoGame/{{Neptunia}} and TabletopGame/Warhammer40000. AdaptationPersonalityChange ensues.

* AdaptationPersonalityChange: Hoo boy.
** AdaptationalHeroism: The [=FEx=] version of Grima isn't out to conquer or destroy the world. She's tolerant of Naga, her canonical archenemy, too. Not so much with [=KiriComics'=] Grima.
** AdaptationalNiceGuy: Where canon Grima (and [=KiriComics=] Grima) sees humans like ants to squash, [=FEx=] Grima sees them like children to raise and train.
** In the Neptunia games, Uni is a {{Tsundere}}. In [=FEx=] Uni is unpredictable and runs on MemeticMutation.
* AmazonChaser: Uni manages to form a {{Polyamory}} with TIAMAT AND TARRASQUE, and is currently trying to make Bahamut and Lawrence, who are also really strong beings, join the polycule.
* HearingVoices: After going to the [[TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons Shadowfell]] to befriend a Shadow Dragon, Nep starts hearing ''several'', at least one for each of the listed archetypes.
* MassiveMultiplayerCrossover: Features characters from Franchise/FireEmblem, VideoGame/{{Neptunia}} and TabletopGame/Warhammer40000.
* NonIndicativeName: The comic features characters borrowed from a lot more works than just Fire Emblem.
* OurZombiesAreDifferent: Features Risen from VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening. In FE x YDAFT they are highly intelligent and adaptable, and have many [[UndergroundMonkey Variations]] based on their environment or DNA of another character. Known variants are the flying Fallen, aquatic Sunken, burrowing Buried, Joanne-fused Jorisen, Rabbids-fused Rabbisen, and draconic Dracorisen.
* ShoutOut: Serving as a BrickJoke to OWW’s RunningGag of Nep disliking Aikatsu, [=FEx048=] has a NoodleIncident that leads to Uni making Nep and Sollaug cosplay as Ichigo (using a different design from OWW, due to hair styling issues).
* TheStoner: Neptune, especially during [[FourTwentyBlazeIt OWW420]] where she eats marijuana pudding made by Eientein't.

[[folder:Dan's Walfas Corner (DWC)]]
* AllianceOfAlternates: The Council of Dans, consisting of Dans from different points in time.
* ButterflyOfDoom: An alternate Dan refusing to enter Okina’s Backdoor and Yukari subsequently forcefully gapping him into Gensokyo leads to the creation of [[EvilKnockoff Cooler Dan]].
* KillItWithIce: A common AchillesHeel for all Dans is being frozen. The only justification is a pun on "frozen in time". This has lead to the infamous "Update: still in ice" meme.
* SkyPirate: Cooler Dan has a pirate aesthetic and travels in a flying ship (robbed from Murasa).

[[folder:Your Average Incident (YAI) and Mayris's Adventures At Gensokyo (MAAG)]]
The first full FC, focusing on the adventures of the TUF.

* BodySnatcher: Consciousness hijacks and lives in Mayris’s brain, leading to Mayris becoming TheInsomniac after experiencing nightmares involving Consciousness.
* ChickMagnet: Wuis manages to attract Osore and Plutia, and it's implied there's more in store for him.
* GenderBender: Hikaru aka Leader is originally male, but is currently female in the comics. Justified as she received major injuries to her original male body when she was gapped into Gensokyo and Suwako gave her a female body during her recovery.
* HazyFeelTurn: The Blindfolds and the TUF has stopped fighting each other (bar Consciousness still camping inside Mayris and Darkness being Darkness), but whether this is a full HeelFaceTurn or not remains ambiguous.
* LethalChef: [[MustHaveCaffeine Mayris's]] coffee is only edble to herself - caffeine concentrations are so high it poisons everyone else.
* NightmareWeaver: Consciousness seems to be this, inducing nightmares in Mayris.
* PowerTrio: In 050, it is established that characters are grouped into trios when fighting the Blindfolds.
* SuddenNameChange: Due to OneSteveLimit within the [=FCs=], Lily was changed to Lila to [[RenamedToAvoidAssociation prevent confusion with OWW Lily]]. This leads to in-universe confusion as people recall calling Lila Lily.
* SuperZeroes: Wuis invokes this by trying to name the main CastHerd of YAI “Team Utter Failures”. Golden then pulls a FunWithAcronyms and interprets the acronym as “Team Ultimate Force.”

[[folder:[=KiriComics=]]]
Initially focusing on [[TheyKilledKennyAgain a girl named Kirike dying repeatedly]] due to PowerIncontinence, under the [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin straightforward title of "The Many Deaths of Kirike Manjo",]] [=KiriComics=] undergoes CerebusSyndrome as the story goes through arcs that results in CharacterDevelopment of the titular protagonist.

* AdaptationalBadass:
** Both versions of Cirno in the comic are ''leagues'' beyond what canon Cirno is capable of, with Strongest Cirno (orange scarf) being able to reduce temperatures so far they reach negative Kelvin and start heating back up, and Ice Queen Cirno (red scarf) being the embodiment of the cold and frost taking a fairy-like form for her own reasons.
** Remilia's fate manipulation is a canonically dubious power, suggested by Flandre to be made up with no evidence to prove her wrong. In [=KiriComics=], it is 100% legit, and she even had a magic pendant created to ensure she doesn't misuse or abuse it.
* AlternateSelf: Kirike has several of these, all taking cues from other works involving BornUnlucky characters and/or characters who die often and/or characters manipulating luck.
** Scarike: Kirike in a timeline where she learns how to master Calamity before she's made peace with her grievances. Having no qualms about using her power to kill, she [[JumpingOffTheSlipperySlope rapidly descends into "preemptive self-defense"]] and starts laying waste to her world, ultimately being annihilated by Angel.
** Arena!Kirike: An alternate Kirike who most resembles the original, only she appears in the setting of ''Roleplay/EnterTheArenaAsYourAvatar'', and instead of learning from a variety of friends and teachers, she's been getting lessons from [[AdaptationalVillainy a very evil interpretation of Sariel]].
** Riko: an AdaptationalBadass Kirike who honed her skills and is able to control her powers without outside help, even condensing her powers to take the form of [[Manga/JojosBizarreAdventureJoJolion Wonder of U.]]
** VT Kirike: Partial {{Expy}} of Gustavo from VideoGame/PizzaTower, riding on a Guard Drake called Silverstrand.
** Kirika: Partial Expy of [[VisualNovel/HigurashiWhenTheyCry Rika Furude]], her deaths allowing her to pull a GroundhogDayLoop to fix the timelines.
** Kiran Starlight: A [[CuteClumsyGirl clumsy]] IdolSinger in the [[VideoGame/{{Aikatsu}} Starlight Academy uniform]].
** Ruinous Red: Takes cues from [[ComicBook/TheBeano Calamity James]]. Experiences less lethal calamitous events at a more regular basis, making her incredibly experienced, leading to the formation of the [[AllianceOfAlternates KiriKollective]].
** Murphy: Partial Expy of [[WesternAnimation/MiloMurphysLaw Milo Murphy]], taking up the titular character's positive attitude and [[CrazyPrepared preparedness.]]
* ArtShift: Throughout the "Elite Arc", episodes 031 to 041, a number of episodes feature panels digitally drawn by hand by Eeeternalpwnage to emphasize the intensity of the moment or portray something difficult to show in Walfas.
* AssholeVictim: Grima, who disintegrated Kirike for no reason in his debut, is the only justifiable case among the many characters who get offscreened by Nidrugg at his full power in Episode 025.
* AuthorAvatar: Technically, Kirike, Stryker, Elite, and Eternal all qualify, being named after the author's various usernames ([=KiriK=], [=stryker324=], Leet 1337, and Eeeternalpwnage), though Stryker is the one who veers closest to actually being one, using his ability of future sight to guide events to a good outcome. The real representation of the author is Rey, a modified version of Stryker.
* CerebusSyndrome: Lampshaded in the Reddit post for Episode 018, titled, "Man, remember when Kirike dying was supposed to be funny?"
* DidWeJustHaveTeaWithCthulhu: In Episode 018, Kirike meets with the divine dragon Naga for a therapy session.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: Besides the obvious increase in visual quality as Eeeternalpwnage familiarized himself with Walfas, earlier comics tried to stick to a [=4koma=]-style arrangement, with a title card and four full panels. As more story-focused episodes have appeared, the number of panels per EP now varies, some reaching as high as 20.
* AGodAmI:
** Strongest Cirno declares herself a sun god after going so far below 0 Kelvin that she produces enough heat at once to self-destruct in a WorldWreckingWave.
** When Nidrugg spams all of his magic types in a single time-dilated moment in episode 025, the descriptive text ends up just collapsing it all into "[GOD]".
* IntercontinuityCrossover: Has had a few with Roleplay/EnterTheArenaAsYourAvatar, as Eeeternalpwnage on Reddit is also [=KiriK=] on TV Tropes.
** Many characters, namely Nidrugg, Oca, Okka, Angel, and the two alternate versions of Cirno featured, were taken straight from Arena users' rosters.
** Episode 028, "The [=KiriKollective=]", features Kirike dreaming about scenarios in the lives (and deaths) of various alternate selves, ending with the Kirike from the Arena in a scene where she was accidentally killed by someone trying to save her from Slenderman.
** Episode 030, fittingly titled "What is This, a Crossover Episode?" features Kirike coming into direct contact with her alternate self from the Arena. The events of the episode simultaneously play out in the Arena RP, featured [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=14315151240A21923900&page=15252#comment-381298 here.]]
** While an original creation to [=KiriComics=], the character Elite was created by Polyphemus, a major antagonist in the Arena belonging to Tropers/{{Arachnos}} who has also appeared in other roleplays.
* ResurrectiveImmortality: Played with.
** Kirike respawns after she dies as a consequence of her own Calamity, but she only comes back thanks to Eiki Shiki allowing it, and it's clear that if she ever dies in a way not influenced by her own faulty control over misfortune, it'll stick.
** The Cirnos play this straighter. As Strongest Cirno is a fairy and Koori is the concept of cold personified, both can have their bodies destroyed to the point of effective death only to dissolve and reform into a fresh body.
* ShoutOut: Episode 039 has three in one ArtShift panel. Strongest Cirno reveals her power over fire and ''Franchise/DragonBall''-style ki by making a fireball with her hand in the [[Manga/JujutsuKaisen Hollow Purple]] shape, with Stryker even calling it out by name. In Sylvia and Corey's reactions, Sylvia's facial expression is taken from ''[[Manga/NoMatterHowILookAtItItsYouGuysFaultImNotPopular Watamote]]'' (fitting of her partial Tomoko inspirations) while Corey's facial expression is [[Manga/OnePiece Enel's]] infamous [[MemeticMutation "Damn, Daniel"]] face. [[FridgeBrilliance Both Enel and Corey have]] [[ShockAndAwe electric abilities.]]
* TheyKilledKennyAgain:
** Originally the main gimmick of the series, though as time went on and CerebusSyndrome kicked in, Kirike dying became less frequent and more serious.
** To a lesser extent, the Cirnos can get messed up badly, like in Strongest Cirno's "Minus K Explosion" and Nidrugg's [GOD] moment, and be just fine soon after, because they have ResurrectiveImmortality.
* TheWorfBarrage: Stryker's first display of combat abilities is a long and powerful combo spell which he outright says he created to kill and survive rather than to compete in duels, used in tandem with Sylvia and Corey's Twin Beam, only for Strongest Cirno to escape at the last second, zip behind Stryker, and nail him in the back with a flying kick. The Twins take it in stride, but that's that for Stryker.
* TheWorfEffect: Namedropped in the Reddit title for 040, in which Strongest Cirno fights Stryker, Sylvia and Corey all at the same time.
* WorfHadTheFlu: Sylvia and Corey, A-list powerhouses in OWW, fail to stop Elite in a 2-on-1 in KC, but only because they held back at Stryker's advice.
