->"Hello internet, and welcome to the Paul Powers Show. I'm Paul Powers."

This WebVideo series, hosted by the eponymous Paul Powers, is something of a "nerd culture" variety show, featuring reviews, analysis, and comedic skits. Subjects range from video games to anime to western cartoons and comics. Most videos use video game-style sprites to rerpresent Paul, as well as any "special guest" the episode may feature. The series can be watched here.

* AdvancedTech2000: The Fight Tron 5000. Noteworthy in that, despite 5000 being clearly written on the front, it was originally referred to as the Fight Tron 2000 due to a "scripting error."
* AffablyEvil: Shao Kahn appears to be this in The Flash vs. Sonic the Hedgehog.
* AffectionateParody: The Legend of the Legendary Legend is this for [=JRPGs=].
* TheAlcoholic: Paul himself, going by Most Distrubing Christmas Songs and Nemesis Vs. Pyramid Head.
* AmusingInjuries: Batman repeatedly brutalizing Paul throughout Finn the Human Vs. Steven Universe is PlayedForLaughs
* AmbidextrousSprite: Noticeably, the watch on Paul's Sprite in the Who Would Win videos switches sides when he changes directions.
* ApocalypseWow: Superman and Goku's fight results in the entire earth being destroyed, at which point they call it a tie and go out for something to eat.
* ArtShift: While most of Superman Vs. Goku is animated with video game sprites, the actual "fight" is just two action figures (the hands holding them clearly visible) banging against each other.
* CatchPhrase: "Hello internet" and "goodnight internet."
* CharacterExaggeration: The special guests in his Who Would Win videos are usually extremely exagerrated, humorous versions of the actual characters.
* ChristmasEpisode: How Goku Saved Christmas is a parody of these, complete with rhyming narration.
* Credits Gag: Finn the Human Vs. Steven Universe ends with Paul moaning and crying about Batman hurting him over the credits.
* DisproportionateRetribution: Batman's response to Paul saying he's overrated is to find every excuse to punch him in the face when he later makes an appearance as a special guest.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: His descritption of Pyramid Head's sword.
-->"Now, Pyramid Head is pretty well-equiped. Er, I mean, his equipment is impressive. No, no, I mean he's got an impressive sword...Uh, no homo."
* FedoraOfAsskicking: Inverted. Paul always wears a fedora, but tends to get knocked around by his guests, like Batman and Vegeta (and Slenderman... sort of...)
* GagCensor: In Top 10 Most Disturbing Anime, two exclamation bubbles with the word "BOOBS!" in them are used as censors when showing an example of the gratuitous nudity in Gantz.
* GainaxEnding: Both The Truth Behind the Dress and Nemesis Vs. Pyramid Head end this way.
* GoMadFromTheRevelation: Appears to be the consequence of Paul being able to see "both versions" of the dress.
* HauntedTechnology: Near the end of Nemesis Vs. Pyramid Head, the Fight Tron 5000 makes bizarre, garbled noises before blood covers the screen and it fades out. Presumably the work of that episodes "guest," Slender Man.
* IWasToldThereWouldBeCake: The only reason the guest even showed up for the Batman is Overratted video.
* NameTron: The Fight Tron 5000, the "most sophisticated in combat predictive technology."
* Nepotism: Implied in the Finn Vs. Steven video.
-->Batman: Laila POWERS? Is she related to you!?
* NoEnding: The Pyramid Head vs. Nemesis video doesn't even name a winner. (Although it could be inferred that the Slender Man won, despite not being one of the combatants.)
* SitcomArchNemesis: Appears to be developing this kind of rivalry with Batman in-universe.
* SpecialGuest: Each Who Would Win video has a character show up as a guest announcer. Usually, Paul will favor one combatant and his guest will favor the other.
* StealthPun: In Goku Saves Christmas, Santa Clause becomes a villain because he's lost his Christmas spirit. Goku defeats him with a spirit bomb. A CHRISTMAS SPIRIT Bomb.
* StylisticSuck: The Fight Tron 5000 isn't even an actual computer, it's just a cardboard box with buttons and panels drawn on with a sharpie. Batman calls him on this.
* TitleScream: "Who... Would... Wiiiiin!?"
