A Website/DeviantArt comic by [=RuneVix=], focusing on ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys3'' and ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddysWorld''. ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddysSisterLocation'' and ''VideoGame/FreddyFazbearsPizzeriaSimulator'' are not taken into account as they were not released when the comic was started. ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys4'' receives nods.

The time is after Nightmare Mode from ''Five Nights at Freddy's 3''. The Fazbear's Fright Guard has survived the rotting murderbunny, the Phantoms, and the faulty wiring in Fazbear's Fright for five nights, and as per canon, the place burns down, in this fanfic thanks to the guard himself. Springtrap is caught in the fire, but decides not to try to escape, as being stuck in the Spring Bonnie suit was an unliving hell for the Purple Guy, and if he burns, he might finally be able to move on.

Well, he does. And the place he moves on to is ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddysWorld'', otherwise known as his very own personal hell, inhabited by all the animatronics of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza along with a multitude of other things connected to the pizzaria, and led by the enigmatic Fredbear (okay, it's less leading than herding a horde of animatronic cats). Everything wants to kill him or at least hurt him a good deal, he gets no respect, he's stuck as Springtrap, and the closest thing he has to a friend is the personification of the animatronic suit that killed him. He's also haunted by the memories of his past, and what drove him to become the Murderer in the first place. Yeah, lovely afterlife.

But there's a way out. Fredbear knows more about what's going on than anyone else, and he's indicated that Springtrap just might be able to move on to a nicer and animatronic-free afterlife. And the first step is finding all the strange clocks hidden around the landscape.

! Tropes

* ActionGirl: All the female animatronics, save Lolbit.
* AdaptationalNameChange: Since this Purple Guy was created before William Afton was revealed, he's a different person, named Dante.
* AdaptedOut: Nothing from Update 2 is present during the comic, so you won’t see Chica’s Magic Rainbow here. Additionally, Springtrap does not fight Security, Scott, or Chipper’s Revenge.
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: Springtrap is still a serial child murderer, but he’s more snarky and gruff than cruel, and his murders were motivated by [[WellIntentionedExtremist his desire to stop the animatronics from killing anyone else.]] As Fredbear points out, it doesn’t excuse his actions or make him a better person, but it still puts a more human face on him, and as far as incarnations of Purple Guy and Springtrap go, he’s one of the nicest (not that that says much).
* AmusingInjuries: Sprintrap, very often. He's been hurt by other animatronics, natural dangers, and misfiring his own attacks multiple times.
* AxCrazy: While Springtrap has mellowed out by the time of the story, he makes it pretty clear he was a violent, murderous maniac before and after he died.
* AudienceSurrogate: Springtrap's the only one who expects things to work by real-world logic.
* AwfulTruth: Downplayed, but the reason Fredbear and Springtrap avoid talking about the flipside to Spring Bonnie is to spare her from learning that her world is actually the Purple Guy's personal hell, and everyone she knew is a reflection of what ''he'' knew on the Flipside (i.e. the living world).
* BadJobWorseUniform: Dante, if only because the uniform he wore (Spring Bonnie) could actually kill him. His regular uniform doesn't fit into this, as it's just a purple shirt with a gold badge.
* ButtMonkey:
** Springtrap, of course. After all, he's in his personal hell.
** There's also Stumpy, the Crying Child.
* CelestialBureaucracy: Where Fredbear is from, instead of being a FNAF World native or from the real world (referred to as the "flipside").
* ChekhovsGunman: [[spoiler: The Child from ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys4'' never appears onscreen, but Dante does witness his accident. Then it turns out that he possessed the Fredbear suit, became Golden Freddy, and kicked off all the events of the game.]]
* ConspiracyTheorist: Golden Bonnie is thought of as this due to her intense curiosity about the Flipside.
* ContinuityNod:
** Aside from Plushtrap and Nightmare Foxy being characters, Dante witnesses the incident from the end of the fourth game. His immediate reaction is to say that he's not paid enough to clean ''that'' up.
** The Phone Guy appears (well, speaks on a phone) a few times in Dante's flashbacks.
* CuteAndPsycho: Spring Bonnie is ''way'' too okay with violence in general. [[spoiler: Likely because her Flipside counterpart seemed even more bloodthirsty than the Fredbear suits, with Dante having at least two partial failures before the one that took his life.]]
* DidntThinkThisThrough: Dante's main flaw is that he ''never does'', and it ''always'' bites him in the ass. [[spoiler:He actually started out with a fairly good position as far as Freddy's night shifts go — he only had Golden Freddy, who didn't show up every night, and he could always drive him away with the camera tablet. And then he tried blood sacrifices, which just made Golden Freddy more active, and then he tried sacrificing children, which gave him ''more'' ghosts to deal with, until he reached the point where the situation was as bad as ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys2'' canon. Then he gave up, quit, and left his mess for Jeremy.]]
** Even his original ''death'' was this, as he was scared by ghosts and tried to hide in the Spring Bonnie suit, which he ''knew full well'' was dangerous. [[spoiler:When we get to see this death in flashback, even the ''ghosts'' are unimpressed by this.]]
* EldritchAbomination: Fredbear. That being said, he's not evil and doesn't have BlueAndOrangeMorality; he really is there to help Springtrap. He's just kinda done with everyone's antics.
* AFormYouAreComfortableWith: The author namedrops the trope referring to Fredbear, who looks like a Freddy's animatronic but whose true form is rather more incomprehensible.
* FromNobodyToNightmare: Dante was an employee of Fazbear's (he wore the Spring Bonnie suit and worked as a night guard) who eventually became a serial killer.
* GenderFlip: In canon, Spring Bonnie has an official gender of "It's a rabbit, who cares?", and the character Bonnie is male. In this comic, she is female, to make her contrast with Springtrap more obvious. Plushtrap follows suit, being based on merchandise of Spring Bonnie.
* TheGhost: Okay, technically all the main characters are ghosts, but the Fazbear's Fright guard is the one who actually fits the trope. We never see him (much like how we get no hint to his appearance in-game), but we do see the consequences of his actions.
* GreaterScopeVillain: Golden Freddy (the real-world version) is implied to be this, as he chases Springtrap in his dreams and seems to have had a great effect on him. [[spoiler:Golden Freddy attacking Dante when he was a night guard caused him to dip into the occult to get it to stop, which eventually led to Dante murdering the children to appease GF, which in turn led to basically all the problems in the games.]]
* HowDoIShotWeb: Springtrap takes a while to figure out how to use his moveset without hurting himself.
* HumanSacrifice: [[spoiler:It turns out that Dante's murders were this, in an attempt to appease Golden Freddy and stop it from killing him or breaking loose to hurt others.]]
* IncompetenceInc: Springtrap's flashbacks to when he was alive show that Freddy Fazbear's was definitely this.
* InstrumentOfMurder: Bonnie and Funtime Foxy have an ongoing argument about Bonnie's guitar being a melee weapon (so far, Bonnie is winning).
* IronicHell: Five Nights at Freddy's World is presented as this for Springtrap. The man who was haunted by Freddy's animatronics in life and finally killed by one now has to spend his afterlife ''as'' one, in a world taking cues for pretty much everything from the pizzeria. Oh, and everyone thinks he's nuts because he expects things to work by real-world logic. And, as the cherry on top, he's stuck in a party with the personification of the suit that killed him.
* JumpingOffTheSlipperySlope: Flashbacks show this is what happened to Dante, who started off as a fairly normal employee, and was slowly driven into insanity by his encounters with Golden Freddy. [[spoiler:[[WellIntentionedExtremist He tried to get rid of Golden Freddy by dipping into the occult to stop it from killing him or wreaking havoc in the restaurant, and he eventually resorted to sacrificing animals to appease it. When animals didn’t cut it, Dante moved on to human sacrifices.]] This just caused more ghosts to show up, and Dante began killing more people, which led to more ghosts. Being trapped in the Springtrap suit destroyed what little sanity or good intentions had left, and left him a really pissed off and murderous ghost.]]
* Re-KillItWithFire: How Springrap finally moves on. Thank you, Fazbear's Fright Guard.
* MurderIntoMalevolence: [[spoiler:Justified. Dante’s murder victims came back as murderous ghosts intent on killing anyone they came across, but only because people sticking around beyond their time in the real world drives them completely insane.]]
* NarrativeProfanityFilter: All swearing in Springtrap's hell is rendered as SymbolSwearing, much to Springtrap's annoyance. Swearing in the real world is not censored.
* NotHyperbole: When Springtrap says he spent years 'sitting around rotting', Goldie assumes that he just meant that he did nothing. Nope- he was talking about his time spent locked in the safe room after he'd died in the Spring Bonnie suit, as both the suit and his body decayed.
* OfficialCouple: Bonnie and Funtime Foxy.
* OhCrap: Dante gets a moment when he realizes that the spring locks on the suit he stupidly got into are unwinding and about to kill him.
* OnlyInFlorida: The comic's version of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza is in Florida. WordOfGod is that it's intentional, since events in the comic ''definitely'' fit the weird Florida stereotype.
* OnlySaneMan: Fredbear. Funtime Foxy fills in when he's not around, though she becomes a LargeHam stereotype pirate on the water.
** The Fright Guard is this in the real world, as he's the only one who even thought of torching the place and running in order to get rid of murderous animatronics. [[spoiler:It sure worked better than Dante's blood sacrifice method.]]
* PastExperienceNightmare: Springtrap has nightmares of things that happened when he was still human.
* SacrificialLamb: [[spoiler:Jorge, Dante's coworker. He appears several times with Dante in flashbacks and is shown to be Dante's friend and fellow Spring suit wearer (he was Fredbear). And then Dante kills him and he becomes Shadow Freddy.]]
* SanitySlippage: Springtrap has his moments in the afterlife, and when he was alive, it's confirmed that his time on the night shift was definitely detrimental to his sanity.
** [[spoiler: This happens to anyone who sticks around in the real world beyond their time. In Springtrap's words, 'turns out being undead makes you really pissed off'. It's why all the haunted animatronics in Fazbear's want to kill people, despite the possessing souls not having been like that in life.]]
* SmallRoleBigImpact: The Fright Guard is never seen and only figures into the first page, but it's his action of burning Fazbear's Fright to the ground that allowed Springtrap to finally enter his afterlife and begin the comic proper.
* TooDumbToLive: Flashbacks to Dante's life show that he was well aware of how dangerous the Springlock suits were — Spring Bonnie took a chunk out of his leg at one point. And yet, he ''still'' put on the suit in basically the most dangerous possible conditions (Spring Bonnie was old and decrepit, and wet from the roof leaking), and promptly suffers the consequences.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: Dante wasn’t always a psychotic murderer, and actually seemed like an okay guy before his time of the night shift drove him around the bend.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: Dante's murders were [[spoiler:an attempt to appease Golden Freddy and stop him from killing Dante or anyone else. Once he became Springtrap, however, he just became a rage-filled monster trying to kill anyone he found.]]
