!!Tropes that can be found are:
* AccidentalHero: [[spoiler:The giant pterosaur unknowingly saves the farmer by swooping in and eating the last ''Velociraptor''.]]
* AnArmAndALeg: The ''Allosaurus'' rips off one of the camper's legs.
* AnimalsNotToScale: The ''Hypsilophodon'' in "Paddock Disturbance" are much larger than they should be, closer in size to ''Dryosaurus''. On the other hand, ''Dilophosaurus'' are generally accurately-sized in the series, unlike their smaller film counterparts.
* AnimalStampede: In "Documenting the Wildlife of Isla Sorna", a ''Tyrannosaurus Rex'' hunted a herd of ''Maiasaura'', resulting in them fleeing to where a worker was filming them.
* AscendedToCarnivorism: [[spoiler:"Paddock Disturbance" ends with a flock of ''Hypsilophodon'' scavenging the body of a park worker who dies fleeing from them. Potentially justified since there's evidence that some ornithopods were opportunistically omnivorous.]]
* BookEnds: [[spoiler:The beginning of "The Trespasser" has the farmer and his cattle marching through the Texas plains.]] [[spoiler:The three-parter ends the same way, now with the ''Stegosaurus'' joining the group.]]
* BoomHeadshot: [[spoiler:The Farmer shoots one of the "Velociraptors" that entered his bedroom.]]
* CanonForeigner: A number of creatures are introduced that were not in the movies, including ''Hypsilophodon'', ''Plesiosaurus'', ''Maiasaura'', ''Titanoboa'', and a huge pterosaur that may be ''Hatzegopteryx''.
* ChekhovsGunman: [[spoiler:The ''Stegosaurus'' that wanders into the farm, protects the farmer from the ''Velociraptors''.]]
* DecoyAntagonist: The giant pterosaur was the main antagonist in the first two parts of the "The Tresspasser", only to be sidelined a lot in the third part by the [[spoiler:''Velociraptors'' who became the true {{Big Bad}}s of the shorts.]]
* DownerEnding: A majority of the videos ends with the main character being killed or devoured by the dinosaurs.
* TheDreaded: The ''Spinosaurus'' in "The River" is this to the main character as he's most wary of it than any other dinosaur, even the ''Tyrannosaurus''.
* DwindlingParty: Part 1 of ''The Trespasser" has [[spoiler:the farmer losing all but one of his cows to a giant pterosaur.]]
* EarnYourHappyEnding: A rarity in this series. [[spoiler:The main character from "The River" is rescued and escapes Isla Sorna.]]
* GiantFlyer: "The Trespasser" features a pterosaur that dwarfs even the ''Quetzalcoatlus'' from the movies, which may be a ''Hatzegopteryx''.
* HeadButtingPachy: In ''Field Inspection Incident'', a park worker named Robbie suffers a deadly encounter with a ''Pachycephalosaurus''. The Pachy mercilessly rams its dome against Robbie till he dies from his injuries.
* HerbivoresAreFriendly: ZigZagged. The herbivores tend to be portrayed as docile and friendly, but at the same time they can be just as dangerous as the carnivores.
** In "Paddock Disturbance", a group of ''Hypsilophodon foxii'' stalks and devours a worker.
** In "Body Cam Footage", a ''Triceratops'' [[ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice fatally impales]] a worker.
** The ''Stegosaurus'' in "The Trespasser" is played straight. [[spoiler:It not only befriended the Farmer and Bessie the Cow, it also protected them from predators.]]
* {{Foreshadowing}}: In Part 1 of "The Tresspasser", the farmer's radio talks about a ''Stegosaurus'' being sighted. In Part 2, [[spoiler:the dinosaur appears at the farm.]]
* MythologyGag:
** The ''Tyrannosaurus'' opting to chase after the worker rather than the meat he dropped for her was based on a line from Dr. Alan Grant in ''[[Film/JurassicPark1993 Jurassic Park]]'', where he explained that the Rex would rather hunted for their food than be provided for them.
** The worker being chased by the ''Hypsilophodon'' in tall foliage is based on the "Tall Grass" sequence from ''Film/TheLostWorldJurassicPark''.
** The premise of "Body Cam Footage" has the characters trying to find Ray Arnold, similar to what Ellie Sattler had done in ''[[Film/JurassicPark1993 Jurassic Park]]''.
** "The Infant" episode is based on the beginning portions of the ''Literature/JurassicPark'' novel.
** The ''Carnotaurus'' in "Hurricane Clarissa" uses a camouflage ability like its counterparts in ''Literature/TheLostWorld1995'' novel.
** The river sequences are based on the ''Spinosaurus's'' attacks in ''Film/JurassicParkIII''.
** The ending where the main character gets rescued by the helicopter is reminiscent of the prologue sequence from ''Film/JurassicWorldFallenKingdom. [[spoiler:Thankfully, the rescuee lives.]]
** The [[Film/JurassicPark1993 last time]] a cow and [[spoiler:''Velociraptors'']] were present together, things did not go well for the former. This was hinted at when the cow entered a field with tall grass, which the [[spoiler:''Raptors'']] had used in [[Film/TheLostWorldJurassicPark another event]].
** [[spoiler:The farm being invaded by the ''Velociraptors'' is one big homage to the kitchen scene from ''[[Film/JurassicPark1993 Jurassic Park]]''.]]
* NeverSmileAtACrocodile: The Spinosaurus from "The River" actively hunts the human protagonist in the river. It even sticks its head up in the water much like crocodiles do.
* NightmareSequence: Part 2 of "The River" starts with the main character being fully submerged in water before being attacked by the ''Spinosaurus''.
* NothingIsScarier: In "Sorna", the survivor encounters a few creatures stalking him within a water-filled room. They are relatively obscure due to the darkness within the water although the survivor takes a picture but we never see what they look like and it's only the survivor's horrified look and panic that tells us the threat they pose. WordOfGod reveals that the creatures are Koolasuchus.
* PlayingPossum: In "Camp Curious", the camper plays dead to fool the ''Allosaurus fragilis''. Then, the ''Allosaurus'' does the same thing to him.
* PredatorsAreMean: {{Downplayed}}. Some of the carnivores in the series are not depicted as overtly violent.
** The ''Plesiosaur'' appears before the main character but they didn't attack him and are rather curious about him.
** The giant ''Hatzegopteryx'' in "The Trespasser" also initially ignores the main character (being more interested in hunting his cattle), only attacking in self-defense once he starts shooting it.
* PrehistoricMonster: It's a horror series involving dinosaurs, so naturally this trope tends to be emphasized.
* ProtectThisHouse: Part 3 of "The Tresspasser" has the Farmer defending his home from a [[spoiler:pack of ''Velociraptors''.]]
* ShoutOut: In the episode "Nedry", the titular character is wearing an [[Website/SCPFoundation SCP]] uniform.
* ShownTheirWork: The ''Hatzegopteryx'' in "The Trespasser" has pycnofibres, rounded wingtips, and hunts predominantly on the ground.
* SnakesAreSinister: In Episode 3 of "Sorna", a Titanoboa attacks the survivor and relentlessly hunts him.
* SpinosaurusVersusTRex: {{Subverted}}. Both the ''Spinosaurus'' and ''Tyrannosaurus'' never fought nor directly interacted with one another, despite them hunting the same prey.
* StockSoundEffects: In addition to most of the dinosaur species previously appearing in the ''Franchise/JurassicPark'' films using their canon sound effects, the ''Hatzegopteryx'' from "The Trespasser" notably utilizes the ''Quetzalcoatlus'' honks from ''Series/PrehistoricPlanet''.
* SuperPersistentPredator: Both the ''Spinosaurus'' and ''Tyrannosaurus Rex'' in "The River" persistently chases after the main character for more than a day. While the ''Spinosaurus'' ultimately stops after being scared off by the helicopter, the ''Rex'' doesn't.
