''Epic! The Humorous RPG'' is an 2012 freeware RolePlayingGame designed by WebVideo/TheMysteriousMrEnter. The game is a parody of {{RPG}}s and runs on the Official Hamster Republic Role-Playing Game Creation Engine. Mr. Enter designed this game back in high school and [[CreatorBacklash doesn't think highly of it]].

The game revolves around Gallas, who is forced by his mother to set out on a quest to become an RPG hero. Joining him on his quest is his recently adopted little sister Lillith, and a man named Kain, who predicts that because the game is centered around Gallas, his hometown, Ketmar, is doomed.

The game doesn't progress past the first dungeon and there are only four sidequests available.

''Not to be confused with'' anything else named ''{{Epic}}''.
----
!!''Epic! The Humorous RPG'' provides examples of:

%%* ActionGirl[=/=]BadassAdorable: Lillith
%%* AffectionateParody: Of [=RPGs=].
%%* BonusDungeon: The graveyard, where the Wraith resides.
* BonusFeatureFailure: You can get ''Mr. Enter himself'' (known as LetsPlay/{{Brovania}} at the time) to join your party. He is very high-level and ridiculously overpowered. The downside? To get him, you have to trade in four red gems. To get red gems? Complete sidequests. How many sidequests are there? Four. So by the time you get him, you've probably already done everything you could do in the game so far and thus he's completely useless.
* DoomedHometown: Kain predicts that this will be the fate of Ketmar.
%%* EverythingIsTryingToKillYou
* GoshDangItToHeck: "Fleck" is a stand in for "fuck".
%%* LampshadeHanging: Most of the game's humor is built around this trope.
* MetalSlime: The gold fish. It takes forever to kill, even if you grind. If you do kill it, it gives you a ton of EXP. and money.
%%* NoFourthWall
* NominalHero[=/=]UnlikelyHero: Gallas. He's only going on this quest because his mom forced him to.
* NonStandardGameOver: In Ketmar Crater, if you try to step in the lava without the lava shoes, [[AddressingThePlayer Gallas will ask you if you're sure it's a good idea.]] If you say yes twice, he'll decide that he can't trust you with his life and goes home, ending the game.
* NPCRoadblock: The old man in the cave that leads to the overworld, who blocks your path while trying to masturbate. He disappears after you rescue Lillith.
* SaveToken: The Save Gems. They are fairly pricey but actually pretty common. The bad news is that there are only about 15 in the entire game (including the ones you buy in the shop). The worst part is that so far, this is the only way to save your game. So if you squander them, you're out of luck.
* ShoutOut:
** The part where a chair comes to life and attacks Gallas when he tries to exit his house resembles the very first part of ''VideoGame/EarthBoundBeginnings'' where a lamp attacks Ninten when he tries to exit his room.
** And when this happens, Gallas has this to say:
--> '''Gallas:''' Who do I look like, [[VideoGame/EarthBound1994 Ness]]?
* SoundtrackDissonance: Most likely a glitch, but when you fight three big green slimes at once, [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments the battle music is the cheery overworld theme.]]
* TrainingBoss: The chair, which is the very first enemy you encounter. Instructions on fighting are displayed on the bottom of the screen, and its attacks will always miss you. Killing it will advance you up to level 1 and you will learn your first special attack.
* WorkInfoTitle: The game has its genre in its title.
