3	''Car Mechanic Simulator'' is a series of video games developed by Red Dot Games and published by Creator/PlayWaySA. The first game ''Car Mechanic Simulator 2014'' was released in 2014 for Platform/{{Steam}}, Platform/{{IOS}}, and Platform/{{Android}}.

5	In the games, the player takes on the role of an auto mechanic. Rather than "levels", the game's career mode is broken up into "jobs". For each job, the player must order the necessary parts online, repair the vehicle, and then take it for a test drive. The money earned from every job is used to buy new tools, take new jobs, and grow the shop over time. Later games in the series also added a body shop for body repair and a paint job.
