''[[https://gamejolt.com/games/arrowfunk/646058 Arrow Funk]]'' is a mod for ''VideoGame/FridayNightFunkin'' created and headed by Yoisabo. It comes with remixes of FNF's songs, with new charting and characters designed and named after a video by Brazilian [=YouTuber=] Pai Troll, where he asks his sister to ascribe names to ''Friday Night Funkin[='=]'' characters.

Bidu is a young man working for the demon club owner Kevin, but the demon decides to spread rumours about Bidu being a drug addict to hurt his reputation. He also tells the father of Bidu's girlfriend, Grape Sago, that Bidu was interested in his daughter. Grape Sago then challenges Bidu to a rap battle. Unbeknownst to Bidu, this would be the first of many challenges he'd face...

!!This game provides examples of:
* AdaptationalDyeJob:
** Boyfriend has blue hair, Bidu's hair is pink and blue.
** Daddy Dearest has black hair, Grape Sago's hair is cream-coloured.
* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance:
** Kevin, who is based on the Henchmen, appears as the opponent in the tutorial, while the Henchmen didn't appear until Week 4 of ''FNF''.
** A pixelated Bidu, which would normally be in Week 6, already appears in the song "-Debug". Justified as this is intentionally mimicking the song "Test" from the original ''FNF''.
* AdaptationExpansion: In the original game, Daddy Dearest and Boyfriend have no sprite change during the beatboxing portions of "Fresh". In "Fresher", Grape Sago and Bidu have specific sprites where they actually beat box that are used during those segments.
* AdaptationalLateAppearance: Instead of serving as the opponent for the tutorial, Barbara instead makes her first appearance during Week 1.
* AdaptationNameChange:
** Rather than using their original names, all of the characters are instead named after Pai Troll's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MdqEWp0YC8&t=52s video]] where he has his sister guess the names of ''Friday Night Funkin[='=]'' characters.
** All of the songs, which are remixes of songs from the original ''FNF'', have different names except for Tutorial.
* AdaptationalSpeciesChange:
** Barbara, the equivalent to Girlfriend, is pure human, while the latter is a demon.
** In both ''Spooky Month'' and ''Friday Night Funkin[='=]'', Skid and Pump were human children in costumes. Their equivalents in this mod, Pumpkin and Death, appear to be a living scarecrow and the GrimReaper, respectively.
* AdaptedOut: Week 2's final song in ''Friday Night Funkin[='=]'', "Monster", is sung by the character of the same name. Here, a "Monster" remix is ditched in favour of an original third song, "Virus", for Skid and Pump's replacements, Pumpkin and Death.
* AffectionateNickname: "Bidu" isn't actually Bidu's name, but rather a nickname Barbara gave him stemming from her love of ice cream.
* AgeLift: {{Downplayed|Trope}}; instead of being 19 like their canon counterparts, Bidu and Barbara are both 17.
* AmazingTechnicolourPopulation:
** Kevin has pink skin.
** Grape Sago has dark purple skin.
* BottomlessMagazines: {{Averted|Trope}}: after firing at Bidu throughout most of the song, Dono runs out of bullets near "Blam"'s end, to his surprise, and the song continues without the shooting mechanic. Dono reloads his UZI for "Loaded", and after running out of bullets again, simply pulls out a second gun and uses that instead.
* {{Bowdlerize}}:
** The original ''FNF[='=]''s rating for just barely hitting a note is "Shit!". ''Arrow Funk'' instead has "YOU SUCK!", while the 1.5 update removes the Shit rating entirely.
** The name used for gameovers in the original game is "blueballs". In ''Arrow Funk'', they are instead referred to as "epic fails".
* BoyfriendBlockingDad: Upon finding out he was dating his daughter, Grape Sago immediately challenges Bidu to a rap battle.
* EdibleThemeNaming: Bidu (named after a Brazilian term for freeze pops), Grape Sago (named after a type of pudding), Pumpkin, [[spoiler:Rotten Lemon]], and Salsicha are all named after foods, with Bidu and Grape Sago specifically being named after Brazilian foods.
* FunnyBackgroundEvent:
** Partway through "Fresher", the speakers will malfunction, bumping Barbara into the air. Afterwards, she glances at the speakers for a moment before shrugging it off.
** When Dono first starts shooting at Bidu, Barbara [[SpitTake spits out her drink]] with a shocked expression.
** Throughout "Blam", Dono's friends show up and watch the battle, with Kleitin walking up behind Bidu, Daniel pulling up and getting out of his car, and two unnamed lackeys pulling up and watching from the roof of a large van. While behind Bidu, Kleitin will also visibly react to being shot at until he gets out of the line of fire.
** In "Loaded", Nene joins Barbara on the air vent, to her annoyance. Nene also fingerguns when Dono shoots at Bidu and laughs when Bidu misses a note.
* GivingSomeoneThePointerFinger:
** Bidu's right pose has him cross his arms and use his free hand to cockily point at his opponent.
** Death's left pose has him angrily point at Bidu. After becoming happy, he instead points at the ground.
* InJoke: The mod was given its name because some Brazilian ''FNF'' fans call the game "jogo de seta/jogo de flecha", literally meaning "game of arrows" in Portuguese. One of the CouchGag opening lines references this, saying "funk de flecha" (literally meaning "funk of arrows").
* HopeSpot: Towards the end of "Blam", Dono runs out of bullets, leading the player to believe the shooting mechanic will be absent from the third song. Dono instead simply reloads his gun in between "Blam" and "Loaded", and when the same thing happens in "Loaded", just ''pulls out a second gun'' and starts wildly firing at Bidu.
* LongSongShortScene: The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEmA2FZWgQ8 game over theme]] is two minutes and fourteen seconds long, almost a minute longer than the original ''FNF'''s game over theme and definitely longer than one would stay on that screen. Bidu starts singing along to the music after half a minute, well after most players have already hit retry.
* MarathonLevel: The songs of the mod usually last around two minutes to two and a half minutes; "Rap King", "[=NightFall=]", and "Blam", however, clock in at around ''four'' minutes, making completing the three a test in patience and focus, the latter especially since it introduces bullet notes that take out a large chunk of health if not hit.
* MusicalNod: "Rap King" contains lyrical segments of "Dad Battle", Daddy Dearest's final song in Week 1, in the beginning and towards the end.
* MythologyGag:
** "Fresher" and "Blam" are named after songs from the original game, "Fresh" and "Blammed", thought "Blam" is the second song of Week 3 rather than the third.
** In the 1.5 update, Bidu's Halloween costume in Week 2 resembles his original outfit prior to his redesign, with some spooky flair added in for the occasion.
* NamedByTheAdaptation: The game's version of Girlfriend is named Barbara, while the character based off the Henchmen is named Kevin.
* OptionalBoss: The Week 3 update adds two optional bosses. One is Salsicha, the Brazilian version of [[Franchise/ScoobyDoo Shaggy]], in the song "Earthquake", and the other is a [[MirrorMatch pixelated version of Bidu]] floating high off the ground in the song "-Debug".
* ShoutOut:
** The entire mod is a big reference to Brazilian [=YouTuber=] Pai Troll, whose video about his sister giving names to FNF characters inspired its creation.
** In Week 2, a [[Franchise/SuperMarioBros Boo]] and [[WebAnimation/SpookyMonth Pump's mask]] can be seen among the various items in the background.
