Alto's Adventure is a 2015 EndlessRunningGame for iOS and Android. The game allows you to control a snowboarder as they go down an endless mountain, doing tricks to increase your speed and boost through obstacles. The gameplay also involves collecting coins, and meeting certain goals, which allows you to unlock additional characters.

The game was followed by Alto's Odyssey in 2018, which trades the mountain setting for a sandy desert. In 2020 both games were bundled in a CompilationRerelease (The Alto Collection) for PC, Platform/XboxOne, Platform/PlayStation4, and Platform/NintendoSwitch, and in 2021 the sequel received an Platform/AppleArcade port with additional content (Alto's Odyssey: The Lost City).

!! Tropes present in this game:
* AlliterativeTitle: Altos Adventure.
* BottomlessPits: One of the primary obstacles. Miss a jump, and it's game over.
* DoubleJump: Felipe the llama has this ability, allowing you to go through new heights that other characters can't reach. It also makes backflipping easier.
* FragileSpeedster: Maya can make backflips quickly, but her boosts don't last as long.
* GadgeteerGenius: Izel. All the items in the workshop, including her rocket-powered snowboard are all created by her.
* HaveANiceDeath: Following in the footsteps of VideoGame/TempleRun, both games have these sorts of messages upon game over (Odyssey will sometimes provide useful tips on how to avoid a crash instead):
-->"Ouch! Crash landing!"\
"Watch out for that rock/campfire!"\
"Almost there!"\
"Better luck next time!"\
"Respect your elders!"
* ImplausibleBoardingSkills: Alto and friends can grind on all sorts of surfaces with ease, including roofs, ropes, and vines. The Sandboard upgrade in Odyssey allows you to climb up walls.
* InUniverseGameClock: The game can change from day to night. Seeing the sunset or sunrise gives you a bonus.
* JackOfAllStats: Alto himself. He lacks any special abilities, but also any disadvantages.
* MasterOfAll: Tupa (in Adventure) and Sumara (in Odyssey) have the abilities from all other characters (Maya's fast backflips, Paz's long boosts, Izel's rocket-powered boosts, and Felipe's DoubleJump) in addition to their own unique perks (Tupa gets a one-time save from a chasm, Sumara will not be attacked by lemurs).
* MightyGlacier:
** Paz takes longer to backflip, but his boosts last longer.
** Downplayed for Izel, who has the same time to perform backflips as Alto, but landing will give her serious speed boost thanks to her rocket-powered snowboard.
* RecycledInSpace: Alto's Odyssey is Alto's Adventure [-IN A DESERT!-]
* VideoGameFlight: The Wingsuit upgrade allows you to fly for a short distance after you've completed enough tricks.
