Disney Friends is a Platform/NintendoDS game released in 2007 and developed by Creator/DisneyInteractiveStudios. One fateful night, you've recently been enlisted by Tinker Bell to be the caretaker of four very special Disney friends: Stitch, Dory, Franchise/WinnieThePooh and Simba. Now at Disney Castle, you have to keep your new friends happy by feeding them, playing with them and going on exciting adventures with them!

!!Tropes that apply to Disney Friends:
* AchievementSystem: The collectable pins are awarded for completing various in-game tasks and, before the Wi-Fi went down, could be traded with other players.
* AnInteriorDesignerIsYou: You can customize the castle lounge with wallpaper, carpets, curtains and plants given to you by your friends .
* AndYourRewardIsClothes: You can buy various hats for your friends from Tinker Bell's store, with the Mouseketeer hat being unlocked by finding all of Mickey's heads in a world.
* ApocalypseHow: Surprisingly, yes. After completing every adventure, .
* BeeAfraid: Pooh's world has bees who will attack the player and steal honey from them.
* BigEater: Pooh gets hungry much faster than the other friends and has to be kept happy with a steady supply of honey.
* ButtMonkey: Dory gets injured fairly easily if you're not watching her: she can get stung by an anemone in her home area, stung by jellyfish if she fails to remember the order Squirt jumped on them and blown up by sea mines during one of Bruce's challenges, causing her to require a first aid kit.
* TheCameo: WesternAnimation/MickeyMouse appears on the Mickey Collector pin and Mouseketeer Hat, but doesn't make a physical appearance in-game.
* Cap: You can only have 99 snacks for each friend at a time. Dory can similarly only have 99 first aid kits.
* CollectionSidequest: The game has several:
** The hidden Mickey heads and gold in each world.
** The picture pieces are obtained by maximizing your friends' happiness gauge every day.
** The furniture for the castle is obtained by leveling up your friendships with each friend.
** The trophies are obtained by reaching the highest friendship rank and completing photo challenges with each friend.
** Pins for completing various tasks.
* CoversAlwaysLie: The cover depicts Simba in Pride Rock. Since the game takes place during Simba's banishment, you can't actually visit Pride Rock at any point.
* DoubleUnlock: The Mouseketeer hat must first be added to a friend's section of the shop by finding all the Mickey heads in their world, then it can be bought in the shop for them like any other item.
* EasterEgg: Playing on your birthday results in each of your friends wishing you a happy birthday. You'll also be given a pin to commemorate the occasion.
* GottaCatchThemAll: Disney Friends has the Pin system: pins based off various characters and locations that are obtained by completing certain in-game conditions. They are completely optional, but can be traded with other players.
* HedgeMaze: Simba can visit a tall grass maze where the goal is to get to the giant tree as fast as possible - the player can meet up with Simba, Timon and Pumbaa along the way for extra gold.
* HoldTheLine: One of Pooh's adventures involves the player protecting him from being bounced by Tigger by building Pooh scarecrows for as long as possible.
* HolidayMode: Visiting the Hundred-Acre-Woods or Bouncing Place with Pooh in December results in them being covered in snow.
* HubLevel: The castle lounge is where you can access each of your friends' doors. It also hosts Tinker Bell's shop and a trophy room that lets you view collected items and pins.
* MassiveMultiplayerCrossover: Between six different Disney series: WesternAnimation/PeterPan, Franchise/LiloAndStitch, Franchise/FindingNemo, Franchise/WinnieThePooh, WesternAnimation/TheLionKing1994 and Franchise/ToyStory.
* TheNeedless: The Alien, being a toy, doesn't need to eat or sleep.
* PlayEveryDay: Each friend's happiness gauge can only be maxed out once per day. If you want all the pieces for their picture, you'll have to repeat the process for multiple days.
* StopPokingMe: You can poke your friends to annoy them.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Each of the friends, barring the Alien, has a favorite snack:
** Stitch has peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwiches, coffee bottles and space chicken.
** Dory has kelp crunchies, which are essentially fish crackers.
** Pooh has honey cakes.
** Simba has bug crunchies.
* TrueCompanions: One of the main goals of the game is to become best friends with each of the four friends.
* VideoGameCrueltyPotential: You can poke, starve and insult your friends if so inclined.
* WolverinePublicity: Stitch occupies the largest portion of the cover art and he is the first friend you unlock in the game, which was released during his franchise's heyday (even though the last Western animated work in his franchise was released the previous year).
