1	* ExiledFromContinuity: None of the characters created for [[ComicBook/TheIncredibles the Boom Comic series]], the ''[[VideoGame/TheIncrediblesRiseOfTheUnderminer Rise of the Underminer]]'' video game, nor ''VideoGame/DisneyInfinity'' appear in the game [[note]]outside of Woody, Lightning [=McQueen=], Sulley, Merida, Spot and Dory are the only ones to represent ''Infinity'' as they were all playable in 1.0 (in the case of Woody, Lightning and Sulley) or in later editions (2.0 for Merida, 3.0 for Spot and Dory, the latter who was the last DLC character for the franchise), seeing as it would cost quite a penny to include both the ''Marvel'' and ''Star Wars'' characters, whom already have LEGO series of their own[[/note]].
2	* FakeShemp: Several voice lines were lifted from the movies for cutscenes.
3	* GodCreatedCanonForeigner: Pixar helped create some of the characters original to the game.
4	* TheOtherDarrin: Several soundalikes replace the original voice actors, with a handful reprising their roles. Bob, Helen and Lucius go through a dual case of this as they are voiced by Jeff Bergman, Ally Johnson and John Eric Bentley instead of their regular video game voice actors Richard [=McGonagle=], Elizabeth Daily and Philip Lawrence.
5	* PreOrderBonus: Preordering this game from [=GameStop=] would give you a LEGO minifigure of Edna Mode, it also allowed you to unlock the Summer Vacation outfits for the Parr family.
6	* RenamedToAvoidAssociation: Pixar's {{Mascot}}, Luxo Jr., is renamed to Junior in the game, likely to avoid potential legal action from Luxo ASA, the company whose lamps inspired the creation of Luxo Jr. and who had previously sued Pixar for copyright infringement back in 2009.
7	* RoleReprise: The other Pixar characters were, for the most part, voiced by their original actors:
8	** Jim Hanks once again subs for his brother [[Creator/TomHanks Tom]] as [[Franchise/ToyStory Woody]], just as he did for ''VideoGame/DisneyInfinity''.
9	** Creator/DaveFoley once again voices [[WesternAnimation/ABugsLife Flik]].
10	** Lou Romano, in addition to reprising Bernie Kropp, also voices [[WesternAnimation/{{Ratatouille}} Alfredo Linguini]]. Remy also appears, but is silent, meaning Creator/PattonOswalt doesn't get to reprise his role.
11	** Creator/JohnGoodman reprises [[Franchise/MonstersInc James P. Sullivan]].
12	** Creator/JenniferHale once again voices Dory instead of Creator/EllenDeGeneres, having also voiced her in past video games (such as ''VideoGame/DisneyInfinity'') and Ride/DisneyThemeParks attractions such as ''The Seas with Nemo & Friends'' and ''Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage''. Andrew Stanton also reprises his role as the Seagulls from the same movie.
13	** Creator/OwenWilson is back as [[Franchise/{{Cars}} Lightning McQueen]].
14	** Ben Burtt reprises WesternAnimation/WallE.
15	** Creator/RuthConnell voices [[WesternAnimation/{{Brave}} Merida]], having previously subbed for Kelly Macdonald in ''VideoGame/DisneyInfinity'' and ''WesternAnimation/SofiaTheFirst''.
16	** Creator/RichardKind once again voices [[WesternAnimation/InsideOut Bing-Bong]].
