* ActingForTwo: As is the case with Toys/Monster High. Among the main cast, there's Erin Fitzgerald (Raven/Cupid), Jonquil Goode (Apple/Cedar), Cindy Robinson (Maddie/Ramona) and Evan Smith (Daring/Dexter).
** The Italian dub has Creator/RenataBertolas voicing Duchess, the White Queen and Gus Crumb, Creator/LucaBottale as Jack B. Nimble and the Big Bad Wolf, Creator/MassimoDiBenedetto as Tiny, Coach Gingerbread and one of the Billy Goats Gruff, Lorella De Luca as the female narrator and Ginger Breadhouse and Creator/MarioScarabelli as Giles Grimm and Rumpelstiltskin.
* ExecutiveMeddling: The series' animation studio was working on the next installments when Mattel suddenly told them to stop mid-project. Mattel wouldn't even respond to the studio's calls about what happened.
* FakeBrit: Lizzie, Kitty, and Maddie all speak with British accents (in theory because Alice in Wonderland is a British story). Despite this, their voice actors are all American. All three are from Los Angeles
* FollowTheLeader: Got two Disney related franchises as an answer to this over the years, though from opposite sides of the sea.
** Film/Descendants was the western branch of the Disney corporations answer to this in 2015, which became a multimedia franchise that inevitably overshadowed and eventually killed Ever After High off.
** In 2019, Disney Japan announced Disney's VideoGame/TwistedWonderland which has a cast based off of (or "twisted from" in the games terminology) the Disney interpretation of fairy tale characters in the form of pretty boys.
* RecycledScript: "Apple's Princess Practice" is very similar to "Unlife to Live" from Toys/MonsterHigh.
* ScrewedByTheMerchandise: The franchise was put on a "hiatus" before officially being cancelled in 2018 due to poor toy sales. This is in part due to both a change in the toy market towards smaller dolls (such as BlindBagCollectables) and physical toys generally not selling as well as they had when the series began.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: Before the series was cancelled, there was supposed to be a crossover between Ever After and Monster High. This was hinted at the end of Boo York Boo York. The movie was then quietly canceled after Mattel rebooted Monster High.
* WordOfSaintPaul: In 2020, Shadi Petosky, a writer for Dragon Games, confirmed in a since deleted tweet that Apple and Darling are true loves. A day later, she liked a tweet reading "Shadiii, like it here if Apple is a super lesbian princess"
