* ActingForTwo:
** Dodgers and X-2 are both voiced by Creator/JoeAlaskey. It's a case that sticks out in which they both interact with each other in a constant basis. Alaskey also voices Rocky, Hubie, and Bertie.
** Creator/MichaelDorn voices all the Centurions and Klunkins (minus Sa'am).
* TheCastShowoff: Queen Tyr'ahnee singing ''[[https://youtu.be/NCB6fZQnMrw?t=41 Blues in the Night]]'' in "Talent Show a Go-Go" let's Creator/TiaCarrere show off her singing prowess.
* ChannelHop: The show was forced to air its last few episodes on sister network Creator/{{Boomerang}} after getting [[ScrewedByTheNetwork screwed over and cancelled]] by Creator/CartoonNetwork.
* {{Defictionalization}}: Dodgers and X-2 became the mascots of the Mars rovers ''Opportunity'' and ''Spirit'', respectively.
* KidsMealToy: Carl's Jr. and Hardee's had a set of four toys in 2005. There was the Martian Moped spring-loaded launcher, the Space Cadet bobblehead, the Lt. K9 anti-gravity crawler, and the Morph-O-Matic screen changer.
* TheOtherDarrin: In her titular episode, the New Cadet was voiced by Kelly Ripa. When she returned for ''Til Doom Do Us Part'', her lines were supplied by Creator/VanessaMarshall.
* ParodyAssistance: Creator/GenndyTartakovsky helped write "Samurai Quack" and both he and Creator/{{Mako}} provide voices.
* PostScriptSeason: The "Of Course You Know This Means War and Peace" was written to wrap up the series if need be (hence, say, Dodgers learning to appreciate the Cadet), but more episodes were ordered.
* ScrewedByTheNetwork: The last episodes of season 3 didn't even air on Creator/CartoonNetwork, as the series was abruptly pulled and [[ChannelHop moved to]] sister network Creator/{{Boomerang}}. Before then, it aired reruns on Cartoon Network at ''12:30am'' on Fridays. It was dropped completely when CN made the late night/early morning hours a repeat of their ''[[Creator/CartoonCartoonFridays Fridays]]'' block.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: The show falls into this. [[https://mobile.twitter.com/BobBergen/status/1158245058245623808 According to]] Creator/BobBergen, after ''Film/SpaceJam'', there was once a Duck Dodgers movie in development where he would have voiced both Dodgers and Marvin, and the Cadet was not in the show. Said plans didn't go through, and the TV series was greenlit instead. However, clips from the unproduced movie made it into the show's TitleSequence, as confirmed by Bergen himself in [[https://animesuperhero.com/forums/threads/duck-dodgers-bonafide-hero-captain-duck-dodgers-series-finale-talkback-spoilers.4009931/post-60537741 a forum post]] (which confused some fans who didn't know of the original plans, especially given the differing animation styles).
** A [[https://twitter.com/skullislandprod/status/1725602538656051685 1998-era pitch]] for the show included Lola Bunny as a third member of Dodgers' crew. [[https://twitter.com/skullislandprod/status/1724849750422213006 A human woman named Sparky]] was also considered for this part with her design being recycled into the New Cadet.
