* ApprovalOfGod:
** Sseth's coverage of ''VideoGame/BastardBonds'' was lauded by the game's developer despite, or perhaps ''because'', of its outlandish nature.
** Likewise, his ''VideoGame/DeepRockGalactic'' review was also taken in stride by Ghost Ship Games, if the comment left by Robert Friis, the studio's art director and voice actor of MissionControl, was any indication.
* ColbertBump:
** It seems that with each video he does on a relatively obscure game, it rapidly receives a large amount of attention and purchases from his viewers. Not just [[https://steamcommunity.com/id/RuckaInc/recommended/233860/ one]], but [[https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198063432948/recommended/233860/ two]] of the highest rated reviews for ''VideoGame/{{Kenshi}}'' on Steam have references to Sseth; his review of ''{{VideoGame/Space Station 13}}'' flooded the servers with new players (referred to by long-time players as the "Ssethtide") despite him advising that they shouldn't do that (presumably because he then followed up that advice [[DoNotDoThisCoolThing with several hilarious anecdotes of what the game is like]]); his review of ''{{VideoGame/Starsector}}'' got so much attention that the developers' website was having issues keeping up and Alex (one of the developers) actually [[https://twitter.com/amosolov/status/1157460146957770752 tweeted about this event in positive detail]]; and his review of ''VideoGame/{{SYNTHETIK}}'', despite coinciding with the very last day of a sale on the game, still managed to cause enough people to buy it that it broke into the top sellers for that month on Platform/{{Steam}}. He's acutely aware of it too, to the point where he collaborated with the developer of ''VideoGame/{{Underrail}}'' to have the game go on sale on Steam and Good Old Games when his review went live.
** Sseth himself invoked this specifically for Rule34 artwork of Olivia from ''VideoGame/GodHand'', to the point that [[RefugeInAudacity he spent several hundreds of dollars commissioning several artists to create some.]] On that note, his ''God Hand'' video got so popular that two days after the video was posted, IGN posted a [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0z5eZTJai1w&t=2s video]] titled ''"In Defense of God Hand"'' [[VindicatedByHistory as a disclaimer for their negative review of the game from 2006]].
** The re-review of ''Might and Magic VI'' led to a variant -- the game ''itself'' didn't receive much of a bump (after all, he'd already reviewed it once, and while that had been taken down the reviews of the sequels were still up), but the mod that he was playing the game through, ''Might and Magic Merge''[[note]]technically, Sseth was playing Might and Magic ''VIII'', as the mod combines ''VI'', ''VII'' and ''VIII'' in VIII's iteration of the engine[[/note]], did, to the point of new mirrors having to be set up as Sseth's fans had overwhelmed the existing ones.
* {{Corpsing}}:
** At the end of his origin story, Sseth tried really hard to not laugh at his own wacky send off.
--->"Remember to like and subscr - *chuckles* - remember to like and subscribe - *struggles not to laugh* - and God bless Mugabe".
** During his streams, he regularly lapses into giggling while telling stories and manufacturing his slapdash image edits.
** His entire ''VideoGame/BastardBonds'' review is a compilation of corpsing moments, the most prominent of which is the 4:50 mark, which has Sseth bursting into an uncontrollable laughing fit that he had to break out of by segueing into a sponsorship plug ...Which caused him to immediately start corpsing again.
** His ''VideoGame/WorldOfTanks'' video has a line that states how man can lactate. His composure quickly breaks upon saying it out loud.
* FanCommunityNicknames: His Patreon supporters are thanked in every video as "the Merchants' Guild".
* InMemoriam: The thumbnail and description for his [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7FzTFROtAI Gachimuchi-themed Tryndamere champion spotlight]] were changed following Billy Herrington's death in 2018.
-->"Heaven just got stronger.\
Rest in peace, Aniki."
* MissingEpisode: His first review of ''Might and Magic VI'' was removed, both because he didn't like it and because it "featured hardcore pornography in the first few milliseconds".
* RecycledScript: PlayedForLaughs in his review of ''VideoGame/{{Paladins}}'', which reuses most of his review of ''VideoGame/{{Overwatch}}'' but with any differing details very lazily dubbed over.
* ScrewedByTheLawyers:
** His original review of ''Heroes of Might and Magic V'' was demonetized and blocked in 221 countries by 4K Media for using a version of the ''Anime/YuGiOh'' dub intro, edited only to paste ''[=HOMM4=]'' and gachimuchi characters over the ''YGO'' ones. Sseth was more confused than mad as to why they would claim it to take all the money the video makes, [[DidntThinkThisThrough then also block it]] in all but a small handful of countries so they ''wouldn't'' make any money.
** His ''[[VideoGame/BloonsTowerDefense Bloons 6]]'' review was briefly taken down due the video [[NoFairCheating showing how to use a cheat engine]] to get infinite Monkey Money (the game's premium currency). It was later restored the same day, but with the cheat engine portion of the video blurred out.
