!!General trivia
* ActingForTwo:
** Creator/YuukiKaji voices both Nishikata and Ikeo.
** Creator/RieTakahashi voices both Takagi and Kyunko.
* ChannelHop: The anime originally aired on Tokyo MX for the first two seasons, then moved to Creator/TBSTelevision [[note]] as well as its affiliates such as MBS [[/note]] for the final season.
* CrossRegionalVoiceActing: Voice actors from both the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and the Greater Houston areas were used for the third season's English dub.
* DirectedByCastMember:
** Chapters 75, 76, and 77 are unusual in that they're produced by Rie Takahashi (Takagi) and Yūki Kaji (Nishikata).
** In the English dubs:
*** The first season was directed by Creator/JeremyInman, who was one of the additional voices.
*** Besides directing the third season, Creator/JohnSwasey voices Shibasaki.
** In Season 2:
*** Both the Latin American and European Spanish dubs were, respectively, directed by Nishikata's voice actors, Creator/EduardoGarza and Angel de Gracia.
*** In the Italian dub, Creator/DanieleRaffaeli is one of the additional voices as well as the ADR director.
* NoDubForYou: Of all seasons, only Season 2 got a dub in many languages aside English. This is because of all of the companies that licensed the series overseas (Season 1 was streamed globally by Website/{{Crunchyroll}}, Season 2 by Creator/{{Netflix}}, and Season 3 by HIDIVE), the only one that was willing to dub it internationally was Netflix. When Creator/SentaiFilmworks announced the worldwide acquisition of Season 3, this received a backlash outside of English-speaking countries not only because they lacked interest in dubbing it internationally, but also because HIDIVE [[NoExportForYou had already shut down before in various South America countries]], making that season not available in any platform there.
* NoExportForYou:
** None of the spin-offs have been officially licensed.
** The 2018 OVA has never been released outside of Japan.
** In Latin America, as with any anime film released exclusively in cinemas by Cinepolis, the film is not available in Ecuador, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Uruguay, Dominican Republic and Venezuela because the company doesn't offer services in those countries.
* TheOriginalDarrin: Most of Season 1's English dub cast, including Creator/AaronDismuke as Nishikata and Creator/SarahWiedenheft as Takagi, reprised their roles for Season 3.
* TheOtherDarrin: In the English dub:
** The first season was dubbed by Funimation, while Netflix's release of the second season featured an all-new Los Angeles-based voice cast. For example, Takagi, voiced by Creator/SarahWiedenheft in Season 1, is now voiced by Creator/KayliMills.
** Though Sentai Filmworks' dub of the third season retained most of the Funimation voice cast, some of the other characters were recast with Houston-based actors. For example, Creator/ScottGibbs and Creator/KiraVincentDavis replaced Creator/JohnnyYongBosch and Creator/AbbyTrott as Hamaguchi and Hojo, respectively. Creator/BrysonBaugus also voiced Nishikata in episode 6 as well as the final three episodes when Aaron Dismuke wasn't available.
* RealLifeRelative:
** Susana Moreno, Yukari's Latin American Spanish voice actress, is the niece of Creator/EduardoGarza (Nishikata).
** In Season 3's English dub, Creator/JohnSwasey voiced Shibasaki, and his daughter, [[Creator/OliviaSwasey Olivia]], voiced Sumire Takagawa.
* RealPlaceBackground: Many of the locations featured in ''Teasing Master Takagi-san'' and its related spin-offs are based on series author Creator/SoichiroYamamoto's hometown of [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tonoshō,_Kagawa Tonoshō]], a seaside town located on the island of [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shōdoshima Shōdoshima]] in the Kagawa Prefecture. However, despite the collaborations between the town and the anime that gave it a TouristBump, including a [[https://i.redd.it/qfmzphew2ua11.png pilgrimage map]], WordOfGod [[https://web.archive.org/web/20171109023811/https://www.roover.jp/articles/S07c7 says the setting was not intended to be based on any real-life location]], but rather just a rural countryside setting.
* YouSoundFamiliar:
** Yuka Nukui voiced a brother and a sister in Episode 6 of Season 1 and would later voice a schoolgirl in the second and third seasons.
** Momo Ishibashi, Kitano's Japanese voice actress, also voiced one of the schoolgirls in Season 3.
